Any comments on Wyndham Cypress Palms Recent Refurbs

We got a phenomenal rate for a 2bdrm here in October..just wondering if anyone has stayed here recently? Their tripadvisor rating has been steadily climbing since I booked them in May, I think, due to recent refurbishment of rooms. Any comments?

We stayed there in April in a 2 bedroom that had not been refurbed. We had the choice between refurb or ground floor and with 3 kids 5 and under ground level is just easier Our room was great. Yes it was old but it was still great. I imagine that the rooms are terrific now.

thanks! I've read that they are mostly finished with their refurbs. Did you see evidence of them remodeling still? Did the resort seem packed when you were there?

We did see some renovations but it did not disturb us at all. We were up early most days and gone before they started. The resort did not seem super crowded but the parking lot was pretty full every night. The pool didn't seem crowded. One nice thing was that there were pool toys, inflatable water wings, etc. that we could borrow from the activities desk.

We usually stay at Orange Lake Resort and WCP is much smaller which I liked. The pool is just a short walk away instead having to drive at Orange Lake.
