Ok this is what we have planned so far and I'm looking for any tips or what you have liked and not liked about certain ones.

Liberty Tree- night of MVMCP (dinner)
1900 Park Fare (dinner with Cinderella)
Hollywood & Vine (breakfast w/ JOJO)
Crystal Palace (breakfast)
Chef Mickey (breakfast)

We are staying at SSR and will have a car so plan on just driving on the breakfast ones so we get there on time.

Thanks

I'm not a fan of Liberty Tree Tavern, but with that said it's a different atmosphere at Christmas. I say definitely go with it! The food is good, not great but I hear the characters at Christmas are incredible!

Crystal Palace & Chef Mickey's are my favorites. I think you'll enjoy both of them! The character interaction at Chef Mickey's is awesome! The Pooh characters are also great (my dd's favorite).

1900 park fare is a bit crowded and the tables are close together...so its hard to get good pictures...but the food is good...and has good characters.

Liberty Tree Tavern is a great place to dine. It's one of my favorites, it's like having a thanksgiving dinner, with characters dressed up in a "Thanksgiving attire" The food has been great and the service is also great. I've never been to Chef Mickey's for breakfast, but I have been there gor dinner, usually on the first, second, or third night. It gets you in the mood for your disney vactaion and the food has been pretty good. Crystal Palace is another great place to dine. The waiters are very pleasant and the food also has been good. Seeing characters that you may not see often such as Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger (music usually starts to play and Tigger leads any kids who wants to join around the restaurant as the other characters follow) and Eeyore. All of these places are a great time!!! I hope you enjoy your vacation!!!

We went in Feb 06 and ate at CM and loved it. Mickey sat at our table for about 5 mins. The kids loved it. And we (DH and I ) thought the food was really good. I think your food choices sound great so far! :thumbsup2

Great question I love the input from the other disers! I have heard if you are celebrating a birthday or something that they sometimes will decorate the table bring balloons and a signed card from all the characters. IF you don't have any special occasions my thought is BE PATIENT and go to the buffets at different times to be sure to not miss the characters.

DS14 has asked to return to Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace breakfasts. He's not interested in the characters anymore but says the food is awesome. I also booked O'Hana's for brkfst. So in Aug we have 3 character brkfst ARs.

we really liked the garden grill. we did a character lunch, it wasnt booked full so we really had a lot of one on one time with mickey and pluto and chip and dale dressed like farmers(very cute). :mickeyjum

We really liked LTT for lunch. My only tip is to not do too many character meals and buffets - we did Crystal Palace dinner, Chef Mickey's breakfast, Garden Grill dinner, Boma dinner. We were buffet-ed out and didn't feel that we needed all those character meals. We love Garden Grill and thought Crystal Palace was pretty good - good character interaction at both. However, Chef Mickey's for breakfast was so crowded and we had to wait a long time to be seated despite ADRs. The lines to get food were really long and lots of kids gettng food on their own were just cutting in the lines in front of those who were waiting. There were long waits to see the characters too, we left without all of them coming by our table. Our favorite meals were the non-buffet table services.

At Chef Mickey's they will take your picture there...your family standing with some big props. We always wear matching Disney shirts & the pics look great!!
