Any change in late check out rules?

Anyone had any luck with getting a late check out?

The lack of flexibility in the past with Disney in regards to late check outs in the past has only been rivaled by Vegas hotels.

Any chance the lack of demand for rooms has led to more flexibility to late check outs?

I got late check out once at POFQ and I think one other resort but can't remember which one. I think I have only ask for it two or three times at the most. But good point, it may very well be more attainable with the lower occupancy rates now.

I've gotten late checkout (1pm) every time I've asked. I have heard since reopening though they aren't allowing it.

I don't believe its any easier now. Heavier cleaning, more required steps, less housekeepers = I just don't see it being easier. But who knows?

I actually saw some speculation that nearly every resort was skipping a day between guests at the resorts (doubt this is true for DVC). It allowed longer cleaning time and for extra cleaning. I read a post from a friend of a friend that said that housekeeping was actually doing all the laundry for the rooms (as opposed to the special laundered workers) and they needed more time to replace and clean.

DVC resorts do not offer late check outs since they take longer to clean.

Nope, I tried the other day at the cabin for a late check out and they said no due to taking longer to clean rooms with all new rules in place. Makes sense, so I doubt that's ending anytime soon!

We have had a 1:00 checkout many times. Although refused once or twice. I think if they can they will but depending on the room location and cleaning staff schedules it is sometimes not possible. Also, nothing is "normal" these days.
