Any chance UPDATE Help needed please!

I had a last minute 1bd at CCV booked Aug 1-7 for my boys’ birthday. They wanted BWV and I managed to snag 3 nights in a standard view and 3 in a boardwalk view.

Is it worth asking at checkin if they have a standard view for all 6 nights? I’d prefer not to change rooms & am not looking for an upgrade or points returned. TIA!

I'd call and ask MS. Perhaps they can pull a std view out of cash inventory for you if they have one, and replace it with the BW view you are giving up. If you dont want the points back, they come out a little ahead, now having a BW view one to rent out. I doubt it will happen, but it can not hurt.

At Poly we were able to take downgraded room with no return of points.

So I was just able to snag the rest of our reservation at BWV in a 1bd st. Yay!! This left me with 21 BCV points in holding. I've booked a LV studio at BLT so that we can try it out (I have a feeling it's not quite our style, but this is the perfect opportunity to try it without blowing a lot of points on a full stay). It's in the middle of our stay and the night before my boys' birthday so we can walk over to MK on their birthday morning. However, both of these rooms are booked with me as the lead. Is this ok or should I try to change the lead to my DH for example, who will not even be there?

Yahoo! Congrats. From what I read on these threads, you should just change the lead name.

For instance, we are booked from September 4-14 at GFVs, but I also have a night booked at BWVs on September 10 so we can walk over to MGM for the 6 am opening. I used the second guest on GFVs ressie as first initial and last name as the lead and my initial and last name as the second person for the BW ressie.
I was also offered advise to make sure I check in online for the BW ressie (so your BLT ressie) so you don't need to get the front desk involved since you already have your BWV ressie and don't want it to get messed up.

Also, PLEASE PLEASE send your pixie dust my way! I'm still unhealthy auto refresh stalking September 13 for a dedicated two bedroom Standard View at GFVs (have a lock off for the last night STILL!). I looked yesterday, it has been almost three months of obsessive stalking IM SO DONE!

Thanks! My only concern is that I’m the only adult. I guess it wouldn’t matter if I put DH as lead and he never shows as long as there are no tech issues with the door. I guess I could take his band with us...

Then change your first name to your first initial and last name. That should also be fine but change it don't leave exactly as you have for BWVs.
