Any chance of non concierge getting a cabana??

In 2014 we went on our first Disney cruise on the Dream. I checked regularly to see if there was cabana availability. 20 days before sailing I struck the jackpot and there was a Serenity bay cabana (which is what we wanted) available and I managed to get it.

So it IS possible.
