Any chance of non concierge getting a cabana??

the only way you will get one is if you happen to look for one and it appears immediately after someone cancels one.

I have been stalking the site big-time as I keep checking to see if our main dining request has gone thorough and no cabanas have popped up. I don't really expect one too but, if it did, it would be a fun splurge.

Odds are better on a smaller ship. I am gold and checked immediately when the booking opened - nothing. Then I did a check daily to see if anyone cancelled out and two weeks before, lo and behold, there one sat! I snagged it up quickly and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. This was on the Magic.

A friend of mine was on the dream in Feb and she managed to snag one once she got on the ship. She got lucky and it just popped up. She was in the right place at the right time.

It is possible, better chances with off season cruises like anytime the kids are in school. Keep checking every day before the cruise and every day on the ship too.

I'm Gold. I've gotten one on the Magic, and one on Serenity Bay on the Dream. I wound up canceling the one on the Dream because I would have been too guilty sitting there without my kids.

Keep trying... you may be lucky. As a PP stated, much better chance on the smaller ships. Less concierge guests to scoop them up.

I managed to snag one that popped up on our recent Spring Break trip on the Fantasy - I stalked the website for about a month, and got lucky catching a cancellation - we are Silver so it can happen!

We got one last week.......five days before we boarded the Dream. I was checking every day and one day it was there.

We got lucky on our last cruise also. I just kept checking a couple of times a day. We were on the Magic over Easter week. So full boat. I think it was about 40 days out or so.

We belong to a Facebook group for our sailing and a very nice person offered work with us to release their cabana so we could be waiting to book it. You just never know

We go in July....on a double dip no less. I am Gold, checked at midnight and still haven't been able to snag one! I check 3/4 times a day......good luck.

We are silver and got one on the Magic. I agree with the others, if you don't get one right away, keep checking back. You can also go to the Port Adventures desk and be put on a waitlist once you board the ship in case someone cancels.

we have cruised 5 times on an itinerary that stops at CC.... this means I was silver for many of those cruises. 4 of the 5 times, we were able to book online either immediately at the time of our window opening, or by stalking the site several times a day looking for a cancellation. The 5th time, immediately upon embarkation, I headed to the excursion desk and placed myself on the wait list, and received news the next day that we had a cabana assigned.

We have never sailed concierge- so yes it is TOTALLY possible!

We are non-conceirge and we got one for our August Fantasy sailing on our first try ( we are gold cc but were several days late booking things on line due to family member's medical problems.)

On my silver status opening day for the Easter week dream cruise this past April, there was one available when I was checking out options of to-dos at cc. I didn't want it, but I didn't notice it linger too long. So, they are out there.
