Any chance of more WB licensed attractions at UO/IOA?

I know Six Flags usually has first dibs on attractions/meet-and-greets on most of Warner Brothers' properties (save for Harry Potter), but ever since I saw the DC-themed gift shop in the former Terminator 2 ride in US last year... could that be a possibility in the future? It would be cool to meet the Marvel heroes in IOA and then walk to US and meet Wonder Woman/Superman/Batman.

Six Flags has been lagging with WB property-themed attractions -- I know I'm missing a few... in the 1990s they had that cool Batman stunt show, they had a Halloween 2016 photo-op with Suicide Squad's Joker and Harley Quinn, and they have a Wonder Woman-themed ride opening in two months. Universal would do a phenomenally better job IMO.

Anyone else think so?

Here's an article from a few years back talking about the rights for DC characters in theme parks:

It seems from the article that as long as Six Flags keeps up with their payments, they'll continue to own the rights to using them in the Theme Parks, so little to no chance of Universal being able to use them.

Phooey. I knew about the general licensing deal, but it helps clear things. I'm glad Harry Potter wasn't part of the Premiere Parks deal back in the 1990s, it's better suited for Universal.

I note that both Six Flags and Universal share Scooby Doo (although the latter doesn't have a dedicated attraction, just the photo-ops and Mystery Machine), so there's probably a bit of flexibility in terms of individual characters and usage.

My thought was that the Dark Universe was being branded/developed/pushed to fill the hole by disney owning marvel and star wars....

Problem is though that the first movie (The Mummy) absolutely bombed and was horrible.

It'll take a monumental effort to salvage a Dark Universe after The Mummy.

That was my feelings on the movie, too......but that seemed like their intention......to "revive" the classic monsters.

mummy seemed to be a spin on league of extraordinary gentlemen

Why would Universal do a Dark Universe themed attraction when the first attempt flopped? It makes no sense from a financial standpoint.

I'm surprised they haven't entered negotiations with Warners and Six Flags for sharing Wonder Woman. Heck, just a photo-op with Diana in a DC-themed gift shop with a Themiscyra background would be a nice touch.
