Hi there:
I think we are going to book a Cat 6 Cabin. Does anyone have a cabin location that they would recommend??? I'm wondering how a room near the elevators would be since I seem to be coming up with a lot of available cabins near the elevators. I'm looking at Deck 6.

Any help would be appreciated as always!!!
Thanks!!!

We stayed in 6582 last October and will be staying in that same stateroom on our October '06 cruise. Liked it because it was close to two different elevators and near (but not right next to) the laundry room.

I think our room was 6608 last year and it was a good room....just be sure not to get one to far aft or you will end up with one of those rooms with a metal verandah that you cant see over unless you are standing up and kids cant see over unless they are standing on a chair or you are holding them!

DH and I had our 1st cruise in April 2005 our room 6590. Loved the location mid ship however down side 2 doors down from Laundry room.

We were in 6034 last year. It's near the forward elevators but a very quiet location. We loved it .

I'm with Barb - Room 5650.

Back corner of the ship on deck 5 - out of the way, larger than normal verandah due to the curvature of the ship and very very very quiet.

We had 6130 and 6131 last Thanksgiving Western....it's aft and close to the elevators....three floors up and you are at the buffett, three floors down and you are at the internet cafe and the dinner rests. Only down side was that 6130 is on the opposite side of the ship when it back into CC. So you see the pier and not the island....but, I requested them again...

6088 was our room. Great location, quiet and midship.

We had room 6044 on our Dec 03 / Jan 04 New Years Eve cruise on the Magic. Room was not near the elevators, but not far either. No noise whatsoever, on the floor, or from above or below. We booked another in room 6042 for April 06, 6044 was a connecting room, and was already booked.

6042 is our cabin, too! :sunny: We were in 6042 for last year's 10-night Hurricane Frances cruise, and we loved the cabin and the location so much that we've booked it for our 2006 cruise, too. We decided to put DSs directly across the hall in cabin 6043 for the next cruise so we'll all have more room.

I liked the location of 6042 because it was close to both the forward and mid-ship elevators, yet there was never any noise or much traffic at all. We were on the western itinerary, and cabin 6042 is on the port side of the ship, and every single night our cabin faced the moon so we got to see the reflection of the moon glow on the ocean. It was absolutely beautiful :flower:
