We have a trip booked in September. We haven't purchased tickets yet. Well, my husband just got hired by the Walt Disney company!!! We are ecstatic about this new opportunity. However, they say he and his spouse will get silver passes. All his dependent are covered free. My question is, are these actual physical passes that we will receive and link to mde? Will we be able to get FP in advance? I'm sure he will find out all this info during his orientation end of June. But I'm trying to get an idea.

Right now employee passes can't be linked and you can't prebook FP+. That will be changing, perhaps by your trip.

I hope so too! Granted a wouldn't trade free passes for advanced FP. But the two that are going to need advance booking (7dmt & A&E) will need to be booked soon.

My husband just got hired by Disney too and begins his training in June! It is really exciting , isn't it? What sort of job did your husband get with Disney? We haven't heard much about the benefits for spouses. I hope we get passes too.

According to what other CMs have posted, once CM passes are linked to MDE, Fp+ can be selected no more than 7 days in advance of park entrance.

1) Anyone covered by a Main Gate Pass CANNOT make FP+.
2) Yes, it is to change.
3) But, no one is scheduling that date.
4) If you REALLY NEED 7dmt & A&E times, it can only be done on purchased tickets.
5) Also, no linking of Main Gate Passes to MDE at this time.

NOTE: It takes 2-4 weeks to get your Main Gate Pass.
