I have never really paid much attention to this place. How is it?

Oh thanks so much! Your reviews were great!

Shhhhh! Don't tell too many people how good it is or it'll always be booked.

Seriously though we think this place is great and the food has been terrific every time we've gone. The best part is that it has always been available even without ressies...definitely a hidden gem. :yay:

We have been for breakfast twice, order of the menu is much better than the buffet

Also had dinner there once, it was very good. The best pork chop I ever had! Loved the salads too

I would def eat here again but not go out of my way for it

We had several good meals there. I think you will enjoy it.

I just ate here last night, and it was great. The best meal we had on our trip. The waiter did tell us that next week they are going to be changing a few menu items around.

The breakfast food is the same as served at Cape Mays. Half the cost, much quieter if you have no kids and no characters.
We used to be Cape May lovers for breakfast, since the first time we went to capt's grill we've never gone back to Cape May.

Dinners, Cant comment, never been.

We really enjoyed the Captain's Grill and I have it booked for this trip. Our first visit was last year, the meal was excellent. It was my sons 11th Birthday and they rang a bell and announced to the entire restaurant that it was my sons birthday then the whole restaurant and staff sang to my son and they brought him over a special birthday dessert..I had no idea they were going to do that. He still talks about it!

Here's another review- you need to scroll down through a little bit of EPCOT stuff. There's lots of pictures from our meal at the Captain's Grille in July

Great pics and great review. What is your son eating for dessert? That would definately appeal to my 7 year old!

Thanks for the reviews everyone. We are staying in the Boardwalk villas and hoping to switch to the Beach Club Villas next month. It would be so convienent to eat there. Nice and quiet too!

:thumbsup2Great! I say its a hidden gem. We all had an awesome dinner.:thumbsup2

Thanks all.... You have all contributed to making this place a little more difficult to get an ADR in the future.........:lmao:

I agree though, I love this place and the steaks are better than a few over-hyped places in WDW. Very nice secret in the Captains Grill. :thumbsup2

Ate dinner there for the first time last November... one of our best meals of the trip! Planning our next trip and plan to have dinner and breakfast there! One of our new favs!

We ate there for breakfast and lunch during our trip in December. We really enjoyed both meals (especially the crab cakes)!

I am so glad to read all the positive reviews. We have ADRs for our May trip and are really looking forward to trying the Captain's Grille!

I totally agree -- a hidden gem. Had the best pork chop ever there. Great service. Not crowded.
