I posted my experience on another thread, but wanted to share.
My 78 yr old has mobility issues and has rented scooters at Disney since 2013. We have used Best Price Mobility and been happy in the past. But due to Disney's policy of meet/greet and our early departure flight, we had to use Scooter Bug. We rented a Resort ECV from Feb 3 - 7, 2026 and it was dropped off at Beach Club Villas. The scooter's battery charger had very faint lights on the Power/Charge indicator and we charged it for over 12 hours and the next morning, we left for AK. The battery lights were only showing 3 red and was going really slow. My mom attempted to get it up the bus ramp and it died. We had to push her into the parking spot on the bus. Once we arrived at AK, we knew the scooter wouldn't last with AK's terrain so we paid out of pocket for one of the park scooters. We called Scooter Bug and they sent a replacement to the resort - They told me on the phone that they can't bring a replacement to the theme parks. Which is surprisingly since Best Price Mobility did that for us once. I would have thought that the official Disney scooter company would have the ability to do that? If something happens while at the park and the scooter stops working, I guess you're just out of luck.
Now that we're home, I have been trying to get a refund for the cost of the Disney scooter or at least refund the day that we couldn't use the rental. Scooter Bug refuses.
I will definitely never use them again and will not recommend. I also emailed Disney's Disabilities Services. Disney shouldn't stick us with a company that can't bring a replacement scooter to the parks. Or a company that supposedly inspects their scooters prior to delivery, but delivers one with a faulty, defective battery charger.
