As the title says,,,we will be there March 8-15. We just wander now that we are DVC and enjoy not rushing around. Always up to meet new people and grab a drink and chat/.

Not DVC, but have a Pixie pass. Quite enjoy the shorter visits without the pressure. Not there until the week after CND March Break however. Been a few months, looking forward to it!

We are staying at the Boardwalk,,,always up for a drink and walk around the boardwalk. With our girls now 18 and 14 they are going to spend some solo time, so we will too. ya

yup I know it sucks,,,,but this short of timeline,,no way out and not giving up flights for it. I will not let him win and ruin my happy time.

Agree. I'd not lose money for principles. Have fun. Enjoy but I'll try to choose local as much as I can. Just hope that he upshot out of this is being able to order BC wine in Ontario. lOl.

I AM calling Universal today to see if i can get my Epic Universe tickets refunded. Then I will cancel my August trip. Will report back!

There's absolutely no point in going. I would not enjoy a single moment of it. I will just eat any money that can't be refunded. I can't imagine I ever will visit the US again.

I'm heading down late April for two days at wdw followed by a 4 day RC cruise followed by 4 days at Universal. If the trip wasn't already paid for and I wasn't travelling with a group and I wouldn't be out a lot of money, I'd be cancelling as well. As it is, I won't be heading back in Feb 2026 for Epic Universe. I'll not be returning to the US EVER. Every friend I've talked to says the same thing. The feeling of betrayal is immense.

I'm cancelling my NCL cruise to Iceland & Norway in May. I was already a bit worried wondering how the people in the ports in Norway will feel about a huge American ship showing up full of American tourists if Trump continues to escalate his threats of taking them over by force. But now I can not imagine being on a ship full of Americans. Yes I know they don't all support what's going on but I will never get over this sense of betrayal either. We won't get back most of our money but there's absolutely no point in going the way I am currently feeling. I'll just accept the loss and enjoy a land based vacation in a country(s) that is our friend.

The Universal folks kindly refunded my Epic Universe tickets. Trip cancelled. The end. And the US is off our destinations list too.

DH and I just got back last Friday from WDW. The plan was to book a bounceback (within 7 days of check out) for next January 2026 for a 2 week stay to celebrate a milestone birthday. Not happening! My pride and love for my country way surpasses my love for WDW. We are now planning for a 2 week all inclusive, probably in Mexico.
At this moment I could never convince dh to step foot on American soil let alone spend a single vacation dollar there.
