any canadians take their dog to wdw if so what documents are required

Hello: Any canadians take their dog to the wdw kennels. If so what documents are required to take them over to the united states? If you used the wdw kennels how were they?

I googled and found this tho...

Dogs must have proof of the following vaccinations given by a licensed veterinarian: Rabies, DHP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza), Parvovirus, Bordetella.

I had my 2 dogs there for a few days when we lived in Florida...I was not impressed....hope it's better than it was!!

As far as I know from past experience in taking our greyhounds down stateside for greyhound related events, so long as their shots are up to date, and the Rabies shots are current you shouldn't have any problems crossing the border. Just make sure that you have all your documentation with you when you cross the border.

Never took my pups to Disney but when I have taken them across for Agility or Flyball stuff Rabies is what is required.

All you need is the rabies vaccination to cross the border. It must have been administered prior to 30 days before entering the US. I don't think this second part is enforced though.

We have crossed the border (Peace Bridge) with our dogs probably 10 times in the last two years and have never been asked to show paperwork. We have been asked if they were up to date but never to show proof.

The kennels might require some special paperwork on their own. You should contact them.

Vacination papers and kennel cough shots and papers to prove they had the shot. After that I would call Disney directly to make sure nothing else is needed.
