Any Canadians receive a free dining pin for 2014 yet?

After I was so happy about the random $114 in savings on the French site I got the FD PIN today!!! Saved $600 over what I had booked with s/p/d! First ever Pin and so happy I could use it!

For those who got the PIN, did you already have a vacation booked?

Also looks like most that have gotten the PIN are on the East Coast too......

We are in Ontario, so not East Coasters here.

There is also no vacation booked through Disney for us. In fact, we have only ever stayed onsite at Disney once, back in January 2009. Never had a ressie through them since (except for a couple of character breakfast reservations for our offsite trips). We regularly get the PIN offers via email, though....its as if Disney knows we are devoted offsiters and are trying their best to woo us back .

Wish there was some way I could pass along our PINs to you. Its always disappointing to know they are non-transferrable, when so many folks on these boards are hoping so desperately for one and ours get deleted without a second thought.

Yes, I had mine booked... Infact I had made changes to it twice!

Unfortunately, this isn't exactly true anymore. Pin codes for free dining during the winter were sent out last year, but was never available as a public discount. SPD, especially this winter, does not give near the savings that free dining would give for those who want the dining plan. And I would bet my whole vacation budget that free dining will not be offered for next winter.

Both dh and I got a pin over the past week. I got it last Friday and dh had it Tuesday this week. Same offer for both. We took advantage of the room only discount for next August but hoping for a bounce back with free dining instead when I go in 13 days

We just got ours this morning. 8am Saturday morning here it is. Free dinning dates don't work for us so tried the room discount.
An extra discount if you pick ASM or AOA. Typed them in for a variety of dates that are listed, always comes up as sorry we can't find the offer. Very frustrating because the pin falls exactly in the timeframe we want to go

We received a pin today too, in my DH's email. I won't be able to use it as we already have a trip booked for next week. We got the option of the up to 35% off or free dining for dates throughout January to March.

We received the email the same pins last week. We have a Cruise booked on the Oasis for Feb (first non Disney Cruise), and had been planning on purchasing one day park tickets as a surprise for our 10yr old. But with the pins, I called my TA and her work out what the best deal would be and now we are booked for 4 days 5 nights in WDW with free dining, following our Cruise. First time EVER we've received a PIN and we've been doing Disney Vacations since 2006! Our little man is sure going to be happy come Christmas morning. This will be his gift, and he's been asking for months "When can we go back to Disney World?". (It's been 4 years since he was there last)

So just for some clarification, I couldn't get the pin to work online so I emailed and got the reply back that the code doesn't work with the online form that we have to call in. We are still undecided for the exact date so I passed on it. Crossing fingers for free dinning instead.

I received another free dining pin for my week in December this weekend.
I originally got one back in May, and now again. I also got one good for 2014 dates a few weeks ago.
The good news is they are trying to fill rooms for my week in December so the crowds shouldn't be too awful hopefully. The bad news is I rented points back in April so couldn't take advantage of the pin anyway.
Oh well.. still excited to stay at WLV.

I got one for a lot of days between now and Christmas. I find it funny, since I haven't been to Disney since 2000. I played around on the site a bunch a few months ago (even booked a TH reservation) when we were thinking about going down this week (it would have been an off-site trip), but we didn't actually book a vacation.

Given I have 4 kids I doubt we will ever do an on-site trip.
