Just wondering if any of you fellow Canadians have done back to back crusies and wether you had to get off the ship on the turnaround day or if you were able to just stay on-board?

I was planning to do this and called DCL in January to inquire about back-to-back Eastern & Western Caribbean cruises for May 2006...I spoke to the best CM...and ended up booking the 14 day repositioning cruise for May 2005 instead!!!! You will LOVE 14 days on the ship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I do remember I asked about staying onboard or if you had to leave and re-check in. She said it depends...she has heard that people were allowed to stay onboard and had everything done at Guest Services and she said she has heard that you have to get off the ship and wait in the terminal. She also mentioned that because DCL has a strict cleaning schedule, even if you have the stateroom, you do have to pack your stuff so that your stateroom can be thoroughly cleaned.
Any doubts...I'd call DCL directly and speak to a CM, they should be able to help you and answer any questions you may have.
