Any buffets with Prime rib

at Disneyland or California Adventure?

No because except for one they are breakfast or brunch only. The other is BBQ.

You may find if at the carving station at Goofy's Kitchen in the DLH. In Storyteller's Cafe in the GCH, they have strip loin.

Not in the parks no, like Ski said you'd have to go to GK or ST.

If you are there during a holiday check out the special events. We went to the Thanksgiving feast at the DLH a couple of years ago and oh my goodness!! So good.

Always found rib roast at GK for dinner, tender and juicy when we were there but that is as soon as they open.

The last couple of times we've done ST it has been Prime Rib.
When we have done it, it has been the strip loin.

Both Storytellers and Goofy's used to have prime rib, but both switched to the strip loin a couple years ago. Not quite as good.

We were at GK for dinner on New Year's. The table next to us lost it because there wasn't prime rib. They asked to see the manager and demanded a refund. They said that they were assured when they made their reservation there would be prime rib. They made a huge scene. The manager didn't give a refund. She offered for them to come another night at no charge but advised that prime rib is no guarantee. They demanded the name and contact information for her supervisor. She gave it to them and they just grumbled.

The had the New York strip that night. It was very good. :)

hmmm, we were there in Dec, I'll have to ask DBF but I was sure the ST buffet said prime rib.....I could be wrong, I don't do buffets because I don't eat enough for the price. :)

The 2 nights we ate there over Christmas (specifically Christmas and Dec 29) it was strip. Here is the menu from Allears.net:
Buffet Menu

Carved New York Strip Loin
Carved Turkey
Chef's Special
Orange Rosemary Chicken
Cajun Salmon
Tortellini with Spicy Marinara Sauce
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Corn Chowder
Seasonal Vegetables
Seasonal Salad
Field Greens Salad
Assorted Desserts

IMHO the tri tip at the Arials Grotto dinner is just like, every bit as good as, in fact I like it better than prime rib! you can order it rare, they bring it medium if you don't specify. The trip to The DL hotel for Goofy's kitchen, or Steakhouse 55, and Grand Californian to storytellers, are well worth the walk! Blue Bayou had prime rib on the menu I think that got changed to the pepper new york which is not any where near as good, or as good as the other places mentioned. Our last 2 trips to DL we have not even gone to BB sad to say.
