Any British Columbians who have flown Westjet to LAX?

We are driving for that very reason, flights are too expensive!! We are driving from Saskatchewan, Canada to California...it's a 30 hours drive but will be cheaper. Plus it is easier to control the kids in the car then it is on an airplane, it will only be me that they annoy, not a plane full of people ;)

If you are really looking to save some money, I would suggest to try searching flights leaving from Seattle. Even with parking the car for the week, we saved a TON of money flying out of Seattle. I was able to find a flight last December from Seattle to SNA for $250.00 each including taxes. I can't remember if you mentioned when you wanted to go, but Virgin Airlines is offering a lot of $79.00 each flight from SEA to LAX. With tax you can get a return ticket for $179.00 including tax as far as I can see. If you can't find any good flights that fit your schedule with Virgin, keep trying other sites from Seattle. Or even if you can get a good flight from Bellingham. It's close to the border. The only thing is that they all stop in Seattle, so you might have to wait there for a bit to change planes.

Anyways, hope this helps.

Another option to consider is flying out of Spokane. We live in Vernon, BC and last year flew out of Spokane to Phoenix. The price of the flight was WAYYYY cheaper doing that than flying out of Kelowna or Vancouver. We even factored in the cost of staying in a hotel (the Hapmton Inn - GREAT place - so nice we stayed on the way back too) and it was still cheap. The drive down wasn't that bad. We had a lot of fun, and were able to get a good deal. I never thought to research a flight to Disney from there.

For us, the flight/hotel combo from Kelowna to Disneyland, $440'ish each for 5 days, all taxes included, changing planes in Vancouver, seemed like a good deal.

Last time we went to Disney, in 06, we flew from Kelowna as well, via Alaska with their kids fly/stay free program. It was pretty reasonable I thought. We booked that one through BCAA.
