Any bouncebacks....

Not sure which month you're referring to, but we are staying at SSR right now and I have a flyer that is offering the following:

Disney Deluxe Resorts Save 30% off the non-discounted price for stays most nights 12/9-12/15/07 (which obvioulsy would be this past week), 1/6/08-2/2/08, 2/24/08-3/1/08, 3/30/08-4/12/08 and 8/10/08-9/27/08 at select Disney Deluxe Resorts' standard rooms.

Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts Save 40% off the non-discounted price for stays most Sunday through Thursday nights 1/6/08-2/2/08, or most nights 2/24/08-2/28/08, 3/30/08-4/12/08 and 8/10/08-9/27/08 at select Disney Deluxe Villa resorts' studio rooms.

I plan to call tomorrow to find out some availability out of curiousity. Not sure if these rates would be comparable to AP or FL resident rates (which is what we usually book at).

We got home 5 hours ago and have the bounceback offer in front of me. Everything above is correct. We booked a bounceback from 9/21/07 thru 9/26/07, even though we'll probably cancel it for 2nd week in December, but by judging the crowd levels this past week, we may do the bounceback and deal with heat & humidity versus the gawdawful crowd levels that we encountered this week.

Hi
I just got back from CSR and had to ask about the bounceback at the front desk. The CM gave me a flyer and I booked POFQ for August with a 30% discount. I just had to give a one nights deposit. If free dining comes out or a better discount than what I now have, I'll cancel this and book a new reservation.

We were just at WL and booked bounceback for Sept. '08 as it ends the last week of Sept. At first the CM had said it had expired, we told her it was still being advertised on resort t.v. We ended up saving 30% on the room portion.

When were you there??? We were there 12/8 through 12/15 and the crowds were far better than in the summer months. We have been in JUly, Aug, and June and the crowds are far worse. Most attractions we only had to wait 5-10 minutes, the longest one we had to wait for was the safari at AK which was probably 25 minutes. We walked right on to Splash Mountain on 12/10 around 10 a.m. which to us was a real surprise as our last trip we had to wait over 45 minutes which was in August.

We were there the same dates as you and agreed with the poster who said it was so crowded. Yes, I'm sure August is much worse (I've been there in June and I know that's worse), but last week it was packed. Wait times weren't too bad, but there were just millions of people everywhere, almost every MVMCP was sold out while we were there, and ADRs were impossible to come by (we booked ours in advance through AKL concierge, but they forgot a few and it was a nightmare trying to get replacements).

We booked a bounceback for next August/September for our pre and post cruise nights, but when I tried to book one for April the CM told me it wasn't valid that date. I had the flier in front of me that said valid through 4/21 and we wanted the 19th, but she told me it ended 4/13. I called back later and got the rudest CM ever who told me the whole promotion had expired despite the fact the the BWI CMs just gave me the flier. I called again and got the same worker who was equally as nasty and then told me the computers were down and when I said I was checking out that day she told me I should have called the day before.

I agree about the crowds last week. We were walking around saying this is slow???

Most of the dining staff really burned me up. We weren't sure until last minute that we were going (PTO issues), so we couldn't make the reservations until last minute. Most places were unavailable and in one case, the CM cancelled our Boma reservation 3 minutes after she made it. I got some terrible responses when I tried to get a new one. We didn't get a new one and had a great and much cheaper meal at Carrabas instead.

We were there last week & thought the crowds weren't bad at all early in the week-- with the exception of the Christmas Party on Tuesday, which was way too crowded! Epcot on the 14th & MK on the 15th did get much more crowded. Got a bounceback rate for our April stay while we were at CSR--saving $350 over the AAA rate I had booked.
