I love reading the boards here, but I am also very much a hard copy person. Does anyone have a recommendation on a book that gives the lowdown on the Universal Parks (height restrictions, length of ride, etc.) I used one for Disney a few years ago and found it helpful to screen for the short people in our group and for the ones who don't want to lose their cookies (that would be ME).

Hi,
I, too, recommend Kelly's book. I have it highlightd and dog-eared and we haven't even left yet. Just sent my parents a copy too as they will be meeting us there. We're staying at HRH. Parents will be at RPR. Tons of useful info on parks, hotels, planning, tips, etc.

Another vote for Kelly's books.

Kelly - Our next trip is in December. Will you have any new editions coming out before then?

I recommend the same book. DS and I both learned a lot and enjoyed it too. DS is still reading it on and off even a month after our trip. :)

Heh, I've been considering writing a book on Universal as well. It'd be chock full of info and money saving tips. Possibly even some "insider secrets". LOL.

I can see the title now...

"My Life as Princess Amora in the Sinbad Show, or How I Kept My Sexy Gams" by The Dark Marauder.

:)

Kelly's book is great. That is how I found these boards that turned out to be so helpful.:p

Sorry for the late response, I just noticed this thread while searching for something else!

Yes, a new edition should be available by then. The official publication date is January, but we probably will offer some sort of pre-pub deal. Folks who have ordered our other books will be the first to hear.

Thanks for the unanimous replies! I have a two year old Unofficial Disney book that has a very brief section on USO and I'm guessing that it is also a bit dated, so I'll look for Kelly's book.
Thanks again!
