any benefit to using Visa for 50 DVC add-on?

other than you get Disney dollars from your Disney Visa, is there any reason to use Disney Visa to pay for add-on? So, for ex., is a $5000 DVC add-on the same as just buying a $5000 sofa, in terms of what I get from using a Disney Visa? Am I missing something? Elaine

As far as I know.. you get the $50.00 in Disney Dollars.

Sometimes they run promo's when you use your card to add-on. Last year it was a $500 Disney Dollars/Rewards card.

We had a Citi card with 5% rewards for three months and the timing just happened to work out.

Disney Visa is 6 months SAC (0% financing) on your add on, in addition to the $50 reward dollars unless they are running one of their promos where you receive extra reward dollars. that's how we did our down payment...made sense....that's $23 more dollars to spend at the world!
