any band nerds?

i am the only boy on my bass line and i play first bass. i was wondering if there were any people with a similair situation, or if you have a reason for being called a band nerd.

Isn't this a band nerd page? I play the french horn and I am second chair, because I have only been playing for a year. In about a month I will 1rst chair. Does anyone have honor band in their district? I am in 8th grade and I tryed out for high school honor band, but I got a little nervous and there were a lot of really really good players. I will be ready for next year, but I have middle school audtions in about 1 month so I will be ready for that and I will hopefully make 1rst chair. :jumping4:

I prefer the term band geek thanks. I'm the only girl in our drumline. I play bass #2. I also play trombone and I'm the only girl in low brass so I'm used to all of it. I'm in every band our school offers so I am a big band geek
