I just installed the 2005 version of AutoCAD LT on my computer, and the plot dialog box is reduced by default, but has a button on the bottom to display an extended menu of options. I’m wondering if there is a way to set your defaults so the full menu displays by default, rather than vice versa.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

TIA

Fish,

I haven't used Autocad LT (I use the "regular" versions) so I'm not sure how much help I can offer...

Check your system variables...see if there is one called "plquiet"...if there is check that it is set to "0".

Autocad has an unbelievable number of system variables. The full versions of Autocad have a "system variable editor" under express tools and you can go through and get a list of them, what they do, and how to change the values to make Autocad work the way you want.

Hope that helps some! :)
