I am condsidering being a mothers helper for a family at disney world for a 6 yr old any advice

txs I always feel like a kid at disney and that is why I love it so much and we can help eatch other feel like kids. Can't wait to see Disney though the eyes of a six year old

Disney with children is a special kind of wonderful!

I never used a mother's helper and never been one....but I think it would be different if it were family members, friends or people I barely knew. Is this a job? Have they told you what they're expecting from you?

no I am volentering and I don't need to be paid. becuse all of my expences are paid for my friend is taking care of the tickets and her mom is doing the rest. Speaking of which I have never used a dineing plan so if anyone can expaln how that works

My advice would be to sit down and get detail on what accountabilities and expectations go along with this "mother's helper". It sounds like it's a maiden run for both you and the family, and all types of confusion and misunderstandings can come up. WDW isn't always a magical place when things go bad, as the countless threads on that subject prove. Once you know what's expected and what you can provide, both sides can make informed decisions. WDW is expensive, so if you are going to pay for any part of the vacation, make sure you know the costs.

It is not offical I figured the least I could do is look after the six year old. Seens it will be completly paying for the trip
