Any advantage to buying AP in advance?

I know you can get discount park hopper tickets in advance and even UPH but what about the AP (or in my case PAP?). I'm going 9/1 to 9/5 to WDW and was wondering about this. Tnay thoughts?

Really no advantage. I'm buying one a month before my trip in August. THat way, they will be paid for. Just another expense I don't have to worry about. Now, I'll just worry about misplacing them. If you do buy the vouchers ahead of time, keep the sales slip someplace safe. That way, if you do lose the voucher, you can get another one.

IMHO, there are only two advantages of buying APs/PAPs in advance:

1) You can "lock in" the price. If Disney raises the price before you get to WDW, you will not have to pay the increase.

2) You can pre-pay for your ticket or if you have several to buy, spread the expense out over several months.

There are no discounts at all on APs/PAPs unless you are in the military or can take advanatge of the Florida resident rates.

One other reason. If I reserved an AP rate, I feel uncomfortable checking into the hotel without at least a voucher.
