Any Adult dressing up for MNSSHP? We are going for the first time on October 12 and I am planning on dressing up as well as our DD (1 year old). DW is on the fence. I figure you feel like a kid at the MK so why not.

We are going to be dressing up too. MNSSHP is the place to do it. You do feel like a kid and it is totally a place to have fun!!!! We are leaving about 2am tonight for Orlando (we have a 9 hour drive from NC plus stops, and we are staying near International drive for 2 nights to get some shopping done before WDW, 'cause once we go into WDW Friday, we are not coming out until it is time to drive home!) we are going to the party on Sept. 30! Have fun at MNSSHP dressing up! I can't wait, this will be the first year I dress up , and it will be our 4th time to MNSSHP in three years.

Honk if you love Disney World!!! :wizard:

There are 3 of us moms dressing up on Oct 7th at the MNSSHP. We will be there with our 3 daughters. So far no costumes decided yet, but Dorothy, Glinda, and Maryann and Ginger are some that we were thinking of. We went with our family a few years back and my husband and I we Hawaiins (we got our shirts from a store near the POTC) my son was the guy from Scream and my daughter was Shirley Temple. This time is all girls and we all plan to dress up, it should be fun!

I have been thinking about dressing up for the party...I'm still kind of young, but I am worried it will be a lot of little kids and I'll feel silly. My SO might also be hard to convince.

I am going to be there on October 31st.

Do you all think a lot of adults will be dressed up? I was on the Halloween cruise last year and there were a lot of adults dressed up. I am wondering if the park will be the same.

I have my family and friends (total of 6 adults) dressing as MMC members ... Just white shiorts with our names - and then all wearing ear hats of some kind.

Last year - I wore a black cocktail dress with spider web stockings, comfy shoes and a witches hat - and my Dh wore hs red sox jersey...

I LOVE this party!!!!

Have fun - and who cares what others think if there are not a lot of adults dressed - you won't see any of them again :) Just have fun!!!!! (my personal opinion :)

My 68 y/o mom and I are both going as Dalmations. I bought us Dalmation ears and took white shirts and painted spots all over them. We always dress in something corny. We don't care what anyone does or thinks. It adds to our fun!

We went last year (first time). There were 5 of us (4 adults and 1 child), and we dressed as the various sports teams. (Lots to choose from in Minnesota!)

I would venture to say that 75% of ALL adults were in custume, and many were a lot more elaborate than our Sports Teams theme!

I would say to anyone - go for it, dress up and have a great time!

My hubby and I always dress us each year we go. This year my hubby is a pirate and I am a lady pirate.

Dress up!! It makes the night twice as fun! I'm going to at least 2 of the parties- one as a brunette Cinderella (I just look too strange in a blonde wig) and the other as Wendy.

I will be wearing costumes for Halloween till I'm old and grey!

Absolutely! It is SO much fun. We went as the Peter Pan family. DH was Peter Pan, ds was Captain Hook, I was Wendy and dd (1) was Tinkerbell. :goodvibes It was a great night. Are there more people not dressed up? Yes.... but so many of them were lamenting that they didn't! And there were MANY that did...and we all had so much fun.

I say dress up! We went last year with 15 family members, 4 senior citizens, 5 40somethings, 5 teens, and one actual child, we dressed as pirates, took over the boat from the GF to the MK and generally had a great time.

DH and I are going as Reding Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf

We will all be dressing up when we go. We wouldn't think of not dressing up, it just makes it more fun for everybody. Plus the kids love it too.

We are 5 adults ranging in age from 30 to the mid 70's, along with two kids. Even my mother, who just turned 69 a couple of weeks ago is going to be in costume. Of course we have a couple of weeks yet so we haven't decided what to wear yet. Have to get on top of that, times a ticking.

:wave2: :bounce: :cheer2: :rotfl:

My DH and I will be going on October 2nd and we will be dressed up. We will be going as Domino's Pizza Delivery Experts! Make sure to say hello if you see us! :-) :cool1:

I'll be Tinkerbell (tee hee) and SIL is going to be a rabbit of some sort. We were trying to give her suggestions (Ursula, Mrs.Jumbo, Turk, Tarzan, you get the picture! tee hee!) My DD is going to be Aurora.
So, if you see a demented Tink, Aurora and a rabbit thing on the 20th, it's US!! :earseek:

We will be leaving in less than a week now and can't wait, My two daughter will be an adorable 5 yr old witch with purple and black stockings and a beautiful cat (meow) and I will be wearing a cat outfir and we hope we can get Daddy dressed up too. We leave in North Carolina like one of the others disney lovers that love to dress up for Halloween.

I am 37, I am dressing up as a Pirate Queen. My DH is 32, dressing as a pirate. My sister 35, is a hula girl. Nieces 7 and 10 as a flapper and Jasmine. Nephew 5, Dash. But the best...

My mom, 67, dressing as a clown. Full costume and make up. Should be a hoot!! Why not!!

My boys will be dressed as a Stormtrooper and Darth Maul and they begged me to dress up so, I bought a tierra from the wedding section of the dollar store, to make myself a princess. I am going to wear the tierra and a black cotton dress. Not very over the top but, I figure I will look nice in the pictures. So vain...I know. Whenever I dress up it has to be something on the "hottie" side - no wart covered witches for me! :earboy2: My all time fave was "sexy costruction worker". It could work for MNSSP, even though it's not a Disney theme. It wasn't revealing or anything. I wore some steel toe boots, a pair of form fitting jeans, and two wifebeater tank tops. Then added a tool belt and hard hat. It is a really cute costume. Something about a gal and tools (not to mention all those tight clothes) that makes em' crazy! :earboy2:
