My trip is April 6-11th. It has been tradition to eat our first dinner at Chef Mickey's. We normally eat early, around 5:30-6PM. This is the first time that we will not be eating at Chef Mickey's for dinner on the entire trip!:sad2: :sad1:

I'm personally hurt, and I wish that someone would cancel, tell me, so I could book it! It's not just the food, it's Donald! I'm gonna miss him!

We're there at the same time!! Where are you staying?

So far we've been lucky. I just booked our last ADR at Ohana, at 8:20 p.m. That's pretty late for us, but it was all they had. Liberty Tree Tavern is the place we plan to go to each trip.

Good luck on snagging a cancellation! I hope it works out for you!!!

I know it's not the same, and I hope you find a cancellation, but what about the AK Breakfast with Donald? At least you can get a little quality time with him. :goodvibes Good Luck!

We are going to be at WDW from May 26th-31st and I tried to get a ressie at Le Cellier for dinner but they had nothing! :sad2: We went with Biergarten instead. I'm hoping that my DH will be able to find something on the buffet that he will like since he doesn't care much for german food. Everywhere we have ressies is buffet except for Prime Time Cafe. I was really hoping for 1 more TS meal but no luck...

I REALLY wanted to try Tutto Italia, but they only had an early ADR! I have a late lunch ADR for Teppan Edo and I knew we wouldnt be hungry for dinner so early. I dont know why I am so disappointed because I do have reservations for Lecellier that night..... I do love italian food tho!!! Oh well maybe next trip.

I wanted CRT, but we never know that we're going early enough to book it at 180 days. (looking for May 4-9 if anyone hears anything)

We're driving down from Atlanta and we're staying at ASM this time. Oh, and I couldn't eat that late. That's the problem. All the Chef Mickeys ADRs available is around 9PM.

Thank you for your kind wishes. I don't eat breakfast at Disney, except for breakfast bars and juice boxes. I will just take a picture of Donald somewhere else. I don't know where to get a picture of Donald Duck anywhere else, though.:confused3

We're doing the same! We live on the West side of Atlanta. I think we've decided to add on Saturday night so we have all day Sunday at the park. We'll see, I haven't called our agent yet to see what's available and how much $$.

If Ohana's hadn't been a down day for us (nothing planned) I wouldn't do a late ressie. I figure this is the day we have to catch up, rest, etc. so hopefully it will be okay.

Keep calling! You never know what is going to pop up!

We have the cutest picture of Donald and my daughter in Mexico at Epcot. He was wearing a poncho and sombrero. Good luck on finding him!!

I have a little earlier-than-I-wanted dinner at Les Chefs de France, but I can't argue too much- we'll just enjoy the World Showcase with the time we'll have left.

Still trying to get Le Cellier. The last two trips we started planning less than 180 days out, and apparently they book up quick. I've been trying back for a cancellation, but no luck so far.

As for our crew, we're leaving from the Northwest suburbs at around 10PM. That means after gassing up and the Wal-mart visit, we'll probably be on the road between 11PM-midnight.:woohoo:

Thank goodness for No-Doz, though. We'll be at Magic Kingdom, riding Space Mountain by 9AM Sunday morning!:thumbsup2

Have fun, and remember that you have a kindred spirit on the road with you.

If I can find Donald Duck in Mexico with a Sombrero, it'll make my vacation!
Thanks for the headsup!:thumbsup2

Word of advice on finding Donald at the parks and maybe someone else can chime in with further details: Characters are usually out at scheduled times in designated areas. This schedule must be posted somewhere because we noticed people lining up for character photos in certain spots in anticipation of a character's arrival. You might want to check with guest services. He definately makes an appearance in Mexico at Epcot. We also saw him at DAK. We didn't see him at MK, but I've heard that he has scheduled appearances in Toontown.

As for the ADR, I read on here that people will often call WDW daily to see if a time opens up. People do cancel all the time so you have a chance of getting fit in.

Good luck and have a great trip!

Just FYI: if you ever want to know when and where a character will be out, just ask a CM. There's a number they can call and find out the times and locations each day. All CMs should have it, but I'd probably ask someone at a gift shop or food stand because they'll have phones to call (vs. radios).

And don't give up on getting the reservation! We kept trying and trying for one we couldn't get and ended up getting a reservation the night before by asking them to check at the front desk. :) You can always cancel the back up plan/place you had in mind.

I'm also driving down from Atlanta....though later in May. Good luck on finding an open ressie...just keep calling.
