I posted before, who will be joining us on the 3/15 7 day western? I can't believe we are the only ones from the DIS going. Only 8 weeks left! and they will pass quickly. Kathy

Kathy,
Have you figured out who we are yet? We can't wait for the cruise. When do you guys head for Florida?

My husband, myself, and 2 kids are going on the March 15, 2003 Western cruise. We are going with my sister, her husband, and their 2 kids. We are really excited. We are getting our lists together for what we need. My sister and her family are return cruisers. This is our first! See you there!

My DW and our DD's (7 & 10) will be returning to the Magic for another Western Cruise. Also, DW's sisters and thier family's will be joining us, for a group of 10.

We're thinking of doing an excursion free trip this time, just explore some on our own, and take it easy.

We have a DD almost eleven, DD just turning thirteen, DD seventeen, DS fifteen. Kids are really looking forward to 7 days on the ship.
also taking along the fil, mil, & sil.
9 all together.
Have any of you booked with Dreams?

Hi.. my friend Sue and I will be joining you guys! I will be celebrating my 30th bday (ugh!.. actually turned earlier this week)...

Also we were going to start a "pub" crawl for St. Patty's day! we will post a itinerary for the crawl if you indicate that you are interested!

Two irish girls from Boston.. what can we say!

Hope to see you all there! Pluto here i come!

Oh No! I have a tough enough time packing, now I have to make sure I bring something green to wear also!

Let me know what you come up with for the celebration, I'd love to raise some suds in honor of your heritage. I'm just glad St Patrick's Day is early in the week, cause' with my BIL on board the ship's beer supply may not last the entire week.

Could it be that our cruise will not be very full????? I doubt it since it is spring break for a bunch of people.

Kathy the kids have been talking about the cruise. Sounds like they are excited. Don'y worry I won't tell of your Christmas surprise.

Oh my, HI BEV!!! I finally read my post can you believe it! We leave Friday the 14th, spend the night at the Airport Hyatt then we are surprising Steph with a Limo ride to the port. We have taken the bus the last 4 DCL cruises and Dave wanted to try something different. When do you head down to Florida? And a big thanks on keeping next Christmas a secret, we thought she would love it since she was left out of my Christmas cruise present this last Christmas.

To all on the DIS, Padre Disney lives very close to us, and our daughters are classmates at the same elementary school. Such a wonderful small world. Our daughters are the same age, each is the baby of a family of 4 children. Since they are the "baby" of their families the girls get along fantastic.

Yes Bev, Steph is just bursting with excietment over this cruise. She is looking forword to having Leah on board and in the club with her. We are staying in cat. 3 room 8548. Where are your rooms located?

We have never booked with Dreams. We use Cruise Holidays (aka Ron Roberts cruises) and our agent is our friend Margaret Ash (Rob Ash's wife, Drake Football's head coach who coached a lot of AAU baseball with my husband)

We need to have a DIS meet. Any ideas when we should have it?

I will be calling you Bev. Kathy

Oh Kathy, So glad to have you figure out who I was. I thought maybe you didn't want to say hey! But I figured you were just very busy.
We are driving down unless we come across some good tickets.
Leaving Wednesdy night the 12th at 5:00 p.m. Should take a little over 22 hours. We are going straight through arriving Thursday afternoon. We are staying at Comfort Suites airport for 2 nights. Not sure if CS is good but just looking for a clean place to sleep.
Taking the kids to Epcot on Friday. DH parents are flying in on Friday night and will ride over to the port with us on Saturday.
We have 3 cat 10's on deck 7. 7005 & 7007 Dh parents in 7001.

I love these boards and just lurk most of the time. It is great to see someone you already know.
We can't wait for the 7 day. Our 3 day was way 2 short.

Talk 2 u soon.
Bev

Hi Bev. I read my post a few hours after I posted it and with no responses I forgot about it. I assumed no active DIS members were joining us. I should of known better! I will check your counter. With this artic blast we are having I can't wait for Spring Break. I looked up our rooms, considering the size of the Magic we are close by, one deck apart and we are starboard midship with your rooms being port forword.

Kathy

I forgot about St. Patrick's day! Too bad we won't be in Key West on that day. Three years ago we took a 4 day spring break cruise and we were in Key West for St. Patrick's day, oh what a party and the ship left port at 1:00 pm! It is amazing who can party hard in the am. I have to remember to pack green clothes. Kathy

Just starting to think about it again. Can't wait. Still need to get the excursions booked. Any advise? We have DD11 and DS8.

We're flying down 3/14 and then spending 6 days at BW- WDW after the cruise.

Soon to be resident of IA - moving this summer.:D

Northwoods,
Where in Iowa are you moving?
Looks like we have a few 10 and 11 year old DD.

Welcome Northwoods,
Where in Iowa are you moving to? Padre Disney and tecdavidt live in the city of West Des Moines (no we are not just the west side of Des Moines as I thought for years when I first moved to Newtion back in '78!) Not much different than MN, cold in the winter and warm in the summer.

We have a daughter almost 11 and Padre Disney has a daughter almost 11.

We are also flying down 3/14. Where are you staying? We are at the Airport Hyatt. We still don't know our flight times.

As far as excursions, we thought about the Key West Aquarium, shopping at our daughters favorite place that sells shells The Shell Warehouse and Sponge Market. Our friends mother lives down there and she is suppose to meet us and show us the island. Grand Cayman we are thinking the Stingray excursion, don't know the exact one and some beach time. Cozumel we have neighbors staying at a resort and we are planning on meeting them for a few hours.

8 weeks left and counting down. Kathy

We are moving to Decorah - northeast IA. We are staying at the Radisson at the port on the 14th. Flying out of MSP in the am.

We were thinking about the sailing in Key West, definitely one of the stingray excursions in Cayman - may go outside disney for this. And not sure about Cozumel.

My husband travels to Decorah to see one of his clients. (Our company does environmental consulting industry, air and water compliance stuff) He told me it is really scenic in that part of Iowa.

We need a Dis meet everyone. On our last DCL cruises around noon on the day at sea or how about late afternoon on the Key West day? Any more suggestions? Kathy

We'll be there!! Mom, Dad and 2 teenage girls (14 & 15) - am I ready for this? I think not.... :p

Our second DCL cruise - last time we did eastern; looking forward to trying the western.

Just got our airline ticktes taken care of and the last of the room reservations; we'll be at Disney's Beach Club Villas the day before, and spending 2 days at Disney's Vero Beach Resort right after. Still have to work out the transportation stuff, but, I'm sure we'll get it figured out.
