Any 2009'ers? We have enough for a list!!!!

My family of 4 will be staying at the Poly in November 2009. Our first trip all together in 2 years.

Looking at Sept/Oct!!! Cant wait! It will be the first time traveling w/ babies! My Ds will be 2 1/2 & my unknown (due in Sept) will be 1!!!

THanks so much! i really dont know what to expect . We were supposed to go this year (would have been our sons first trip) but we booked the trip before we knew we were pregnant (again). Turns out the date we booked for this year is the due date of the new baby! I hear horror stories but good stories as well. I dont have any expectations but just hoping that we will all have a good time! All I do know is that this year we booked the Poly and I am hoping and wishing it will be available for us next year. Never stayed there and the resort looks amazing... Plus I think the tram will be a big help!

We're going January 17-24, 2009!!!!!!! We will hopefully be doing a split stay between resorts...CSR and then AKL. I tried getting a quote yesterday, but was quoted a ridiculous amount (additional $75 per night at Mod, and additional $115 at a deluxe), so I think I'll wait until the rates are released to make the reservations. There is no way rates can go up that much during a value season, right?

The planning stages are so much fun for me! Let the fun begin

All I do know is that this year we booked the Poly and I am hoping and wishing it will be available for us next year. Never stayed there and the resort looks amazing... Plus I think the tram will be a big help!

Check this upcoming August for 2009 rates and you might want to go ahead and book then too. I called for June of 2009 and the Poly is already half booked....I am saving the deposit $$$ but the way things are going in my life right now I might have to wait until rates come out and put down the $200. So keep you fingers crossed for me.....

We're hoping for April 2009 for my 30th birthday! My first trip with DH AND kids together (we've been separately, but not all together), and we'll also have his parents and my mom and maybe my sister!

October '09 for us. DH and I went for our honeymoon in 1999, and we are taking DS3 and DS6 for their first trip. My parents are coming with us also. We are already finding videos of rides to watch, and the boys are saving spending money for their trip to "Mickey Mouse's House".

I can barely stand it I'm so excited!! We're been telling the kids we'll go back in 2010, but dh & I decided to surprise them a year early!! I can't wait to tell them! We'll probably wait until late summer to let them know (makes the waiting easier if it's not so long) but boy is it hard not to spill it!!

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who's planning already!!

I thought that disney is only booking up to dec 31 2008...please tell me how you are booking into 2009!!!

The way I understand it is that you can book up to 500 days out. You won't be able to confirm your rates until the 2009 rates are released, but you can make the room reservation and deposit based on 2008 rates.

We just took our first trip this past January and loved it!! Dh just told my DD's yesterday that we can start saving and planning to go again next year!!! I would love to go back in Jan. We loved the low crowds. We stayed at POFQ. The next question is do we stay there again or try something else???

We are going to WDW the last 10 days of May 2009.
Staying offsite in a 5 bedroom pool home in Formosa Gardens Estates.
And my 10 day park hoppers came in the mail yesterday!!!

From reading the boards I expect that Memorial Day wknd will be pretty busy at the parks so I am planning on using one of those days to do Discovery Cove. I tried to reserve that too, but they only book a year in advance.

This is all just too much fun!!!!!

we are going the first week in March 09!! It's going to be sort of a family reunion and family vacation. We are all really excited. My mom is 50 years old and has NEVER been. She's more excited than my soon to be 3 yo.
