Any 2009'ers? We have enough for a list!!!!

hopefully jan5-15 09. We've been in jan before. actually it was one of the coldest januarys in FL, it was like 40-50 the whole time. but with me being from the north, the cold doesnt faze me. We had a blast and the parks were virtually EMPTY! it was the best!! we rode space mountain many times and there were no lines so they didnt even make us get out of the car!

Very cool!!!!!! We were there during the marathon so it wasn't "empty" but we never waited more than 30-40 minutes for the top rides. I'm sure we could have dodged those lines better but it was our first trip ever, we were just married, and sorta just floating.....

we just went this past Feb. 23/29. Great trip with very low crowds. Already planning for the same dates in 09'.

It is never to early to think about DISNEY!!! We are going May/June 2009!!

Yeah, yeah, yeah.... So you have a *little* longer than I do.... Something awesome happened today and I have to share!! We are planning a March 2009 trip and DH has been ok with going, but not thrilled.... We are also hoping to start a family very soon Out of nowhere he tells me today that he wants to do Disney World in March 2009, Land/Sea in February 2010, and Land/Sea in November 2011!!!! He wants to do the 4 night Bahamian cruise and then 7 nights at WDW for the 2010 and 2011 trips.


Who are you and what have you done with my husband???


He says he just knows that I enjoy Disney so much and he wants to make me happy. He also said that if we get pregnant soon it will be great to go for the next three years because the little one will not be 3 yet and will be free (except on the sea part of land/sea). I can't believe it!!! I asked him if he was kidding because I'm obsessive and will start planning all of the trips NOW. He said, no he wasn't kidding, he really wants to go. The only slight downside is that after these three trips he wants to wait until our little one is at least 44 inches tall so that he/she can enjoy most of the rides Not a problem with me at all!! I am really super excited!!!

OK, I'm done... I just had to share with all my fellow 2009 buddies!

I hope that you can eventually add the DH and I to the list. We'll be onboard the Disney Magic September 5-12, so I am hoping that we'll be able to do WDW either before or after the cruise. I'm thinking more of after the cruise since before may be busy from the Labor Day holiday! Still have to decide on dates and then wait for the packages to be released!

I have no idea?!?!?!?!? I'm pretty sure the year of a million dreams will be over - they all ready carried it over one extra year.... It would be awesome though!!!!

We're planning a trip for mid-June 2009! We're still debating between the BC and the Poly, but we've got lots of time to decide, I guess.

Out of curiosity....When will y'all start booking your trips? Once the 2009 rack rates & packages come out?

We are booking a package through Disney for Friday and Saturday nights (POP Century, DxDDP, 8 day MYW tickets w/ PH and waterparks & more option) and then renting points from a DVC member for Sunday - Thursday nights (AKV, DxDDP). We will be booking with the DVC member around the end of the summer and then we plan to wait to book the package through Disney around Nov-Dec - the package rates will be out by then

We also plan on going ahead and booking our airfare as soon as the rates for March come (if I find a price I'm happy with) out in fear that they are only going to go up more!!
