Anxiously awaiting exam results

Good luck to anyone waiting on exam results. I hope the postal strikes that are going on will not affect people waiting:shamrock:

Congratulations to everyone; I remember my results day (well it was only 6 years ago :rotfl:) and not sleeping the night before. I was so shattered that after I got my results (and cried because I got in to the university I wanted after months of convincing myself I wouldn't :woohoo:) I went to bed for two hours before the partying began :lmao:

Well the long wait is over for India - 6 weeks after getting her results she found out today that she has a place at Exeter University - Cornwall campus in Falmouth to study Renewable Energy.

She is over the moon and we are all so proud of her achievements.

That is great news, did he take AS maths a year early then?

Great news guys! :yay:

I remember getting my results (six years ago :scared1:). It was such a relief after an anxious wait and I was so pleased to get into my first choice university.

Netty, just noticed your ticker is the same as mine! Are you flying from Manchester?

Yes. He took his Maths and French GCSEs last year so I guess that's why/how he's taken the Maths AS...

Six years ago it was my a-level results day too, I was a nervous wreck and convinced I had failed. I was in a car crash the day before my first a-level and suffered head injuries so I was over the moon to get 3 A's and a B and to get into uni - it was one of the best days of my life :goodvibes. Its been downhill since then lol :rotfl:! Well done to everyone that gets results today. Tell them to make the most of their student days. You are an adult all to soon so be young and silly while you can!

FINALLY HE PHONES - DS had to be at school at 11 and only just thought of phoning - didn't dare ring him because I assumed it was bad news as his Maths/further maths and accounts teachers predicted him C,D,C in that order for his AS because they felt his swimming was interferring with his studies. Well yar boo sucks to them 2 A's and a C (C in accounting and he thinks he might re-take) we are really pleased, he said that none of his Maths teachers are at the school but can't wait for the cake his Decision maths teacher promised any of her students that got an A

Hope all other students and parents are pleased with their results
