Anxiously Awaiting December Hours Thread! - WE'VE GOT HOURS!!!!

We're going with my in laws. It's my first time at Christmas. I'm excited but nervous too that it's going to be packed because of the free dining offer. But as my Dsister told me it's better to be packed and cooler weather than summer hot and packed. Which is very true! We're going 12/1 -12/8 WL so if they release the hours on Sept 1 I'll have one day to know the hours before i have to make the reservations! :scared1: I hope they surprise us all and release them sooner. I'll have my LGMH on my bag so if you see it stop me and say HI! I'd love to meet some fellow Disboard members!

I stopped by Home Depot today to look for LGMHs and the closest I could find was "alien green." They also have "Sonic Boom" which does not have as much yellow in it as does the "alien green." Is lime green a retired color or will the ones I've just mentioned be noticed just as well by fellow Diser's?

I don't think they have lime green. I think the disers get the alien green and call it lime because we are disers. That is what I did and I have met disers with mine stuck to my backpack so guess it worked.

We will be sending our first Xmas and NY at the world this year and can't wait for those December park hours so I can get planning again! We will be at the WL:cool1:

Our Grand Gathering of 10 will be at the CSR from Dec. 1 - Dec. 5. It's DMom, DDad, Dsis and Dnephew's first time at Disney!!! Hoping it's not too crowded. We were at the CR the same week in 2007 and it was great! But they didn't have a free dining offer... we'll see how it is! :confused3 But hey, it's Christmas at Disney, so I'm happy!!! :cool1:

Yippee...count us in!!!! We'll be at Animal Kingdom Lodge Dec. 3-7th. It's going to be a surprise trip for our DS11, so mum's the word. :santa:

We'll be taking some newbies with us Dec. 6 - 12 with us at AKV and the newbies at AKL (unless our waitlist comes through :) ). Adding nights onto the front part of the trip at the DTD Holiday Inn. Can't wait!!!

My Adr is Sept 14th and can't wait

We'll be there, Dec. 2 thru 9. We are celebrating DDs 13th Birthday while we are there! We are going for Free Dining and we are staying at POFQ for the first time and we are so excited.

Waiting impatiently for December hours!:surfweb:

How neat! It's a small world! We're excited about free dining as well. We were planning on doing the qsp before it came out for free, so it was a bonus for us. We've never stayed at Pop before -- our first stay on property was a shorter (and more expensive) 3 day stint at AKL - it was very nice but we're happy to spend more days there for less $$. Are you flying out of Milwaukee on Air Tran?

You'll like Pop a lot. We stayed there for a couple days before a cruise several years ago. I also stayed there with my son and grandmother for a 5 day trip. Be prepared to walk a lot of you are in some of the outer buildings. However, it is a very pleasant place to walk.

We've stayed at almost every resort on Disney property over the years. Of the value resorts, we really liked Pop a lot.

We'll be flying out of Green Bay on this trip. I took Air Tran from Milwaukee in May with my son and brother. The big problem I had with them is that they changed our departure time by 5 hours. We were originally scheduled to leave Milwaukee at 7:00am and got put on a noon flight instead. It messed up our evening meal for that day, but otherwise the time change didn't really make a big difference. That way we just drove to Milwaukee the morning we were leaving rather than going the night before and having to spend the extra money for a hotel room. Our return time was also changed by several hours as well. I don't really like any of the airlines out of Northeast Wisconsin right now....had trouble over the years with them all. This time we're taking Northwest from Green Bay, through Detroit, and finally to Orlando. I checked prices out of Green Bay and Appleton and finally determined that we got the best price on the flights we like with Northwest. All the other options were crazy expensive.

We're still looking at rental cars. My DH likes to drive to the parks rather than rely on Disney transportation. We also like to go to dinner at other resorts and having a car makes that a lot easier. The rental car prices have been unbelievable. Hopefully something better will come along before the trip.

Maybe we can arrange a quick meet while we're there! It would be fun to go all the way to WDW just to meet someone from my own area. ::MinnieMo

We will be there from Dec.18-22. Short and sweet. We have always wanted to go to see the Holiday Magic and with our oldest stating HS this year, there was an opportunity and we went for it. We are staying at SSR for the first time as well. I'm so excited and the wait to finalize is almost over. YAY!!!

We'll be there Nov. 30-Dec.6. Staying at POR, with the exception of the last night when we'll be at CS. Sooooo excited!!!

I'm waiting for the December hours as well. We're driving in from Arkansas (for the 2nd Christmas in a row!) and staying off site December 18-26! How exciting!:santa:

We'll be there Dec 3-5 at AKL. Hoping to try Boma for the first time for our anniversary on Dec 4.

I have this insane grid as I try to fit everyone's wish list items on it - if we know that X, y, and Z days are MVMCP days, then that means that one of these *other* days is the EMH-pm day... and if the trend is for Fantasmic to be on thursdays all november, then maybe that'll persist through december... and if Pirates and Pals is only F-S-Su-Mon, then we might miss DHS EMH-pm unless they change it because of the MVMCP...

Deep breath...

Second verse~~~

:rotfl:

Good thing there's a vacation at the end of all this planning. It's exhausting!
