Looks like I belong here as well!! It's tough being caught in-between Nov and Dec. So... Any word on when you think the Dec hours will finally be released?

My family will be there Nov 30th- Dec 8th so add me to the list.

For those of you that are able to make an educated guess of the hours for Dec, can you tell me when you think the evening EMH's will be for DHS early in the month? People have said they look at historical schedules and they seem consistent year to year but I am at a loss to see how this works. Any help is greatly appreciated!

We will be there Dec6-Dec13 at POP. WE loved the holidays so much last year. That we are going again and saying longer.

We will be going 12/23/09 thru 1-1-10. Staying at the WL. Question for everyone, (but not expecting the perfect answer) This time of year in the past all of the resorts have been completely or almost completely booked for Christmas and New Year. But, this year you can get reservations at almost all resorts and any view. Anyone care to guess why? First choice of course would be the economy. Any other ideas?

We'll be there from 29 Nov - 5 Dec, staying in a deluxe room at WL. I don't like how these hours are delayed! It'd be nice if they could release them 120 days out and give us plenty of time to plan our ADRs. As it is, I gave IPO my requests, and I guess I'll let the chips fall where they may. It's my first time not doing my own ADRs, so I'm on edge. We'll find out how it all turns out on 31 Aug (my 90+10 day).

I'd love to do Fantasmic again, but since they changed the showings since last year, I don't think we'll deal with it. It's a shame, too, because I loved it last year. At least we'll be doing everything else (Candlelight Processional, MVMCP, Osborne Lights). This will be our first time during the holiday season, and I'm really looking forward to it!

i will be there with my mom from december 10th - 15th. mom has never seen the xmas lights at disney so i'm bringing her for her birthday & xmas presents this year. her b-day is december 21st. we are staying at music.

It's been a nightmare trying to keep this a secret...DH and I just want to keep talking about it!

I was looking for something to do for my mom for her 70th b-day and just for kicks thought I'd check on WDW. I didn't think we could swing it since we are going to DLR in Oct. But with free dining and an Airtran airfare sale 36 hours later here we going to WDW in Dec. I'm so excited and feel like I'm behind since we usually plan 9-12 months ahead. We'll be at CSR from the 10-15th. We've never done the dining plan so this trip will be all new. We hope to surprise our DD10 about the trip but I don't think we'll be able to hold out until then. Now I'm off to change my siggie.

DH and I were going to surprise DD7 with the Disney trip. We have been telling her that we're visiting grandma in St. Pete. Would have been fool proof, but DH couldn't keep the secret. He broke in one week! Good grief! I thought it would be really cool to get all packed as if we were spending the holidays with Grandma in St. Pete. Fly to Tampa have her pick us up and detour to Disney! It would have been so cool! Oh well....now we all get to talk Disney for 4 more months!

We'll be there too - Dec 5-11 - 4 generations of us. My dad and his lady friend, me and my husband, son and DIL and our, by then, 23 month old granddaughter. DVC members staying at BWV. Will be her second trip - can't wait!

Glad to see so many December-goers joining in the fun!! What's everyone doing to pass the time between now and then? With our ADR dates more than a month away---how do you keep yourself occupied?

We are going 12/12-12/20. Staying at POP.

First time for us so I'm spending my time trying to figure out what ADR on what park day. My 90-10 window is 9/13. Hoping for hours by 9/1. Kids start school 8/25, so that's when I really get into the detail.

Visiting with friends (kids same age as mine) next weekend who were there last year, similar time. Will be picking their brains the entire weekend.

We are going from 12/17 through 12/27 for our youngest dd's 5th birthday. We are so excited!

We will be there from 12/1 - 12/8 and staying at ASMovies. We are all very excited because this is the first time we are going in December and first time to do MVMCP. I have always wanted to see Disney during Christmas time, and since my B-day is in December, my DH surprised me with an early B-day present and this will also be part of my Girls' Christmas Present.

I can't believe this.....I see you're from Appleton, WI. We're from Seymour, WI. We arrive 1 day before you and leave on the same day. Unfortunately, we're not staying at Pop. We've got a split stay between a cabin at Fort Wilderness and a 1br and OKW. We found out about the free dining offer a few days after I booked the trip and I was able to change my ressie and get the free dining for the time we're staying at Fort Wilderness. Staying there will be a new experience for all of us. We weren't able to get a DVC accommodation for the entire stay, so thought we'd try something new. We have stayed at Pop before and liked it a lot.

How neat! It's a small world! We're excited about free dining as well. We were planning on doing the qsp before it came out for free, so it was a bonus for us. We've never stayed at Pop before -- our first stay on property was a shorter (and more expensive) 3 day stint at AKL - it was very nice but we're happy to spend more days there for less $$. Are you flying out of Milwaukee on Air Tran?

Oh, she will love it! My folks havent been since 1996 but have decided they need to go one more time after I talked about my 2008 December trip so much (they want to see what all the fuss is about ). My b-day is the 24th and we are going 11/30-12/5....they are paying for their part and I'm paying for mine, but mom just asked me yesterday if I wanted the $100 she allots for my birthday to go towards paying for my trip. I was like, of course! They are all excited because I got free dining (my dad especially!) so I've about driven myself crazy trying to plan our meals at places my dad would never pay to eat at....he's gonna love it! My mom is a christmas freak like me (she always brought out the christmas records the day after thanksgiving and we'd listen to them while putting up the tree) so I cant wait for her to see the Osborne lights at HS!! Come to think of it, she's never even seen Illuminations or the lights at Epcot. Oh, she has no IDEA! I'm getting excited just thinking about it!

We are starting our trip at the Beach Club on December 1 and then heading "home" to the Poly on the 4th - I must go to Home Depot and get some LG Mickey heads so we Disers can recognize each other
