Anticipation of room assignment

I got so hyped up today thinking today could be the day I get our room assignment for fantasy vgt 10days out and..... Nothing ! Just my luck probably won't find out till we are rolling luggage up . I just want to know I've been patiently waiting . Well kinda patiently

I'd suggest checking toward the end of the day.

Typically *GT assignments are done around 7-10 days out, and generally on a Tuesday./

But, as you noted, it's possible it won't show up until embarkation day.

I'm waiting on the Fantasy also but 29 days out. So guess I'll be waiting for a little while! But I've still been checking. We just booked it a couple of weeks ago and, of course, Palo brunch was sold out. So I keep checking on both but figure the Palo is a waste of time until we get on the ship.

Certainly, keep checking the Palo reservations. Since such things are non-refundable if not cancelled by 3 days prior to a cruise, people hold onto them "just in case" they want them. Then they cancel just prior and a space opens up. That's how we got our first Palo dinner reservation on our very first DCL cruise.

Keep checking about the brunch because when I first started booking our things it was sold out but then one day there was an opening so I got it .

Thanks for the info. So there is hope! A couple days it gave me the select button so I thought I had it! But said not available. Every day since, it just says sold out. I'll keep looking for sure now.

Isn't that the worst ! It did that to me many times . I even cancelled the one I had to see if there was a better time on a different day and it ended up having no times so I had to hurry back and get the one I had dropped

Go and relax. Have fun. Any room onboard a ship is good. Yes, some are better than others, but I'd rather have a "bad" room onboard than none.
