Is anyone out there planning a trip in early 2019 and hoping for the "Stay, Play, Dine" discount? I've done this deal before a few years ago and thought it was great. It typically doesn't get announced until the fall, but to get all my reservations in order at the 180 mark I have to book as soon as packages become available, which should hopefully happen within the next month or so. Historically, people with deluxe and moderate reservations save "up to $500" and with value they save "up to $300", but you can only get a discount on the QS dining plan with value resorts.
I have been bouncing around the idea of doing another split stay because I want to experience new, deluxe resorts, but I don't feel they are worth it if you spend all day at the parks. It was mostly a good experience for me, the only annoying thing is having to bring our luggage to the valet and pack and repack. So has anyone ever done the math on the price differences between Value + additional cost of TS dining plan vs. Moderate and Deluxe resorts which come with the regular dining plan?
