Anticipated code question!!

Not sure if this question has been asked already -

We have our vacation booked for 12/5-12/12
I did receive a 20% off pin code via email but the dates were 12/7-12/13 and my TA said I couldn't use it because we were arriving earlier than the deal.

From reading other posters and the dates of last years deals... is it unusual for there to be a code for the 1st week in December??

We have a party of 8 with 3 rooms booked, another poster a few weeks back suggested I make 2 reservations for each room - but that seems a little complicated, especially since we're travelling with 2 sets of grandparents.

Thoughts?

Thanksgiving this year is kind of throwing a monkey wrench on how the first two weeks of December are panning out. Pop Warner is always 1st week in December, but because of Thanksgiving being later than usual, it's been moved to the time we're going (2nd week in December). Discounts almost always start on Sunday so what we do is just stay at a Value on Saturday and then continue on to our primary resort for the remainder of our trip (AKL ). Since you're already at a Value, you need to do a split stay. One day on Saturday and then leave your existing package the way it is minus 1 day at the beginning. It will definetly be a little complicating to do with 3 rooms, but it can most definetly be done.
