My DD is wanting something to control frizz on her hair. I don't see any frizz but LOL We saw Tresemme anti-frizz bottle tonight but do these products really work? Thank you for any recommendations.

I really like Biosilk Silk Therapy. Contols my frizz especially when I blow dry. Does not take much...its like a serum or syrup consistancy.

I have tried many things - I can't find anything that works completely in our humidty.

BUT what seems to work best are the serums & a leave in conditioner - the ones I'm using now came from the hair salon. I know there are some sold by every company out there.

She might want to try switching to a sulfate-free shampoo if she hasn't already. It's the ingredient that makes a shampoo lather and those bubbles can really irritate the hair and cause frizz. I'm a fan of Aquage Vitalizing Shampoo and Equalizing Detangler.

I have tried several products and the one I like is Frizz-Ease and it comes in a small bottle. It looks oily but you only use a drop! I have had my bottle for over a year and I need to get a new one before summer. I get it at Target or Walmart type of stores for under $10.

The other thing is I never blowdry my hair. It makes me look like my neighbors Pomeranian puppy!

Paul Mitchell makes a serum called Super skinny. There is a whole line if she's interested.

:thumbsup2 I use this too. It works great.

This is the best stuff ever! My son has super curly hair that tends to frizz and this leaves his hair so silky smooth and manageble. Love it!:thumbsup2

It's a 10 Ten - Miracle Leave In Product

This is what I was going to recommend. I've been battling frizzy hair all of my life (I'm 50). I use bed head shampoo and this leave in conditioner and for the first time in my life, I have normal hair.

Garnier's Sleek and Shine styling cream. If it's extremely humid, I mix a leave in conditioner with that then scrunch. It helps that I wear my hair in it's naturally wavy state.

But more important: condition, condition, condition. My hair was always frizzy beyond belief. Once I switched from a 2-1 to a separate shampoo and conditioner, the frizz was much easier to control.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE It's a 10!!! I live in Central Florida and the humidity would have my hair as one giant frizz mess if it were not for this product! I also use Redkin Shine Serum for shine when I am going out somewhere nice but if its just to keep the frizz away It's a 10 is what I use!

Now I also use Wen for my Hair Cleanser. It is a Cleansing Conditioner and doesn't harm my hair like most products would do to my hair. I get my Wen From QVC and my It's a 10 from Hair Salon.

I use Frizz-Ease too, it's by John Frieda. I have incredibly thick, frizzy hair and it's the only thing I've found that works. :thumbsup2

Did you all know Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum helps you dry your hair faster also? It really works!

I could not find any anti snap at the supply store yesterday. And It's a 10 was on clearance. I've never tried it but now I will I had gotten some since it was on such a great sale!

thanks for your replies everyone:) I see there's various products to choose. For now I'm going to ignore DD's request for this hair product because DH just got a cut in pay. Her hair is a little wavy, doesn't look frizzy to me. :confused3

I would love to find it on sale once in a while! $30 is about as low as I can find the 10 oz. size. It lasts a long time thankfully. Hope you like it as much as we do. :)

We like John Frieda, but dang, look at those reviews. It's a solid 5 with 16 reviews. That must be some good stuff. I see it comes in smaller sizes. We'll have to check it out.

We used to use the John Frieda products too before finding It's a 10. I do still buy Frizz-Ease Secret Weapon but have to use much more product to get similar results.

I also used to use John Frieda until my stylist told me I needed to use the 10 product line. OMG, there is no comparison. I'm not even going to finish up using the Frizz Ease product I have; after one use of the 10, I knew I'd never go back.

I've been using the 10 products (I use the creme rinse and the leave in) for maybe 6 months now.
