Does anyone know what the latest buzz is with respect to anti-wrinkle/anti aging creams? I remember alpha-hydroxy was hot a while back. Is that still the best stuff for less visible lines? There is so much out there in the stores and they call everything by funky names. It is hard to compare or decide what to buy. Anyone have any ideas or have any of you used anything you thought actually worked?

You're right there so many out there, it's   ! I don't have wrinkles yet, but I have noticed that my skin is not as firm as it used to be (I'm almost 39).

I have tried several creams/lotions ...

Oil of Olay Total Effects ~ I was surprised at how well this creams works. You really get noticeable results; my skin feels softer, looks firm and more even toned. They also have another one called "Regenerist" (I think) and that works well too.

La Mer ~ I bought this cream after hearing how wonderful it is; don't ask how much I paid. I didn't notice anything different at all. Maybe my skin will benefit from it at a later age, I don't know. I ended up giving it to my mom who is almost 70 and she says that her skin felt firmer.

Clinique Turnaround cream and lotion. I preferred the cream to the lotion, but I still prefer Oil of Olay. Who knew?:o

Also tried Avon Anew. My skin felt soft, but I didn't notice anything else.

Yes, I have tried quite a few, my husband says that my creams keep me well "preserved". :teeth: I'm not sure if that's a compliment or if he is laughing at my "creams". :teeth:

I still prefer Oil of Olay Total Effects and it's under $20!::yes::

They also have another one called "Regenerist" (I think) and that works well too.

I second that. It is a product I really like.

a friend just turned me on to elizabeth arden visible difference. i like it. :)

(some people may think mid-20's is too young to be using wrinkle cream, but i have noticed a few wrinkles developing  )

I got a sample of that Oil of Olay Regenerist in the mail and like it too!

If you have any teenage kids, use their Retin-A.

just wanted to add that IMO, the best "anti-aging" cream is Sunscreen!

sun damage really makes your skin age fast. (and yes, getting a tan is equivalent to damaging your skin on purpose.) prevention is the key to younger looking skin. i don't really believe that there are truly any creams that reverse aging... heh.

I've been using Natural Advantage, naturaladvantage.com...for about 4 years now. I use the 3 step, it's simple and my skin has never felt better. I've tried just about everything else that worked for a while, but then it didn't.
It's not nearly as expensive as a lot of products I've tried. I felt the difference in my skin right away.
I think you'll love it! If you don't they'll give you a refund.

I've been using Avon's Anew skin care line for years now, and I have to say I get many compliments on my skin. I'm not sure if it's the Anew or good genes, lol, but I'm not gonna stop using it.:D

I think I was blessed with good genes. I don't use anything special on my face, just whatever store-brand moisturizer I have on hand because my face does get a little dry in the winter. Have never used anything but plain soap either. I only have a couple laugh lines near my eyes but look at those as signs of a happy life. :)

Olay Regenerist is fabulous! I love it. We had a report on one of the news channels here in the N.O. area and they mentioned Regenerist as one of the best products in that price range (under $20). Since then, it is so hard to find in the stores. It has been off the shelves in local Wal-Marts for about a month now.

I finished up my last bottle and couldn't find any more and I was so bummed out about it. My daughter works at a daycare and she came home with a box full of samples. It seems one of the other ladies at the daycare has a daughter who works in a dermatologist's office and she brought a large box full of samples of different procucts and my DD brought home a ton of the Regenerist samples for me!! Gotta love those DD's!

I hate people who get freebies when I don't!;)

I'm about to turn 30 and have just started noticing some fine lines, so I've been trying out different skin creams as well.

I was using Neutrogena Healthy Skin for a while but it seems to leave my skin kind of tight and I didn't notice anything happening.

I've been using Loreal Wrinkle Decrease, which seems to work pretty well and I love the texture. I've been thinking of trying their "boswolox" (sp?) line because I've heard it mimics botox. ;)

My biggest problem is a huge crease I get around my eye from lying on my side at night. It fades away after I wake up, but if you look closely you can see the wrinkle is always there. I've tried EVERYTHING--- even satin pillowcases and heavy moisturizer at night, but nothing seems to be working! Even if I try to lie on my back, I always end up flipping to that side sometime during the middle of the night.

I've used Oil of Olay for years now.Have tried others, but nothing has been better so far. I use the Oil of Olay regenerist now.

I also use Retin-A. My Dr who is also my neighbor swears by it. So when she gave me a prescription for it I was really surprised at the effects it had around my eyes. Also can't beat the price. My co-pay is only 10.00

Ladies, I am seconding the sunscreen!

It's the best way to prevent wrinkles...make sure you get one that has both UVA and UVB protection.

I use Olay Complete for combo/oily skin...it is not too greasy for someone like me, who breaks out once in awhile, leaves my skin nice and soft. I used to use the original Olay Complete, which was good too, but this one leave me looking more matte.

If you don't use sunscreen every day, you are inviting the wrinkles! No two ways about it! So get a good sunscreen!

I am a nursing student and whenever I see an old woman who looks great for her age I always ask her "secret"...guess what??? They all have the same answer: Ponds Cold Cream! Each and every 80-something year old who has beautiful skin all told me they have always used just Ponds Cold Cream. Guess who went out and bought some???????? ;)
