Answer to emails

Was just wondering if anyone has ever recieved an answer on a email that they have sent to Disney other than the standard.......we have recieved your email and will get back with you soon form letter. Whether the email was a compliment or a gripe? Or do they get lost in cyberspace.

yes. i received a phone call. i had written, commenting about the attire--bikini tops--in the parks. i was told the CMs are supposed to ask that a shirt be put on. but on our trip last week it was not happening. there were several times my husband asked me if that was bikini top or a bra.

I have e-mailed Walt Disney World a number of times and always received a response. The first thing you get is an automated acknowlegement. A few days or so later you will get a specific reply to your e-mail.
I have also received phone calls on two different occasions from the Executive offices at WDW. It's pretty impressive that someone high up in WDW management would actually call you and talk over the situation.

Thanks for the responses...........I was just wondering and I know I am a little impatient but I also did not want to be wondering for weeks.........it's good to know they do take the time to read what we have to write.

Do keep in mind, as you wait for your reply, that WDW receives thousands of e-mails every day. Heck ... probably thousands an hour sometimes! Be patient.

Also ... if your e-mail did not include a question or something that obviously requires an answer, you may not get one. Again, simply because of the sheer volume of e-mails.

The important thing when you e-mail or snail mail Disney is to ask for a response if you want one. If you were sending in an observation or a general comment or and idea or even, sometimes, a compliment, you may not get an answer back because your mail doesn't seem to warrant one.
