Just making sure ...

Does it matter how you allocate your daily points?

I haven't lost weight since the initial water loss. My bloodwork indicates that I have insulin resistance. My doctor wants me to try a modified "South Beach" approach -- no "white carbs", little or no fruit. We want to see if that would work better than just cutting calories.

So ... if I eat my full daily points allowance, can I eat mostly protein, vegetables and low fat dairy? Does it matter, as long as I eat enough points?

I think I can eat whatever I want as long as I eat enough points, but I am just making sure.

(So much for those yummy 2 point bars!)

I think that the idea behind WW is that you "can" use your points any way you want, but the Points system rewards you for using them in a healthy manner. Protein, veggies, and lowfat dairy are a great use of your points. In fact, it sounds rather like the Core program. Have you looked into that?? Good luck with your weight loss journey.......................P
