We booked La Hacienda de San Angel for our arrival day dinner. My family (kids 4 and 6) loves Mexican food. While I'm sure it's not quite the same as being south of the border I am hopeful we'll have a great dinner. The place looks beautiful online.
La hacienda has been receiving mixed reviews at best. Via Napoli gets my vote! I've been to their restaurant here in New York and the pizzas are fabulous.
We ate at both Via Napoli and La Hancienda last week. Of the two I enjoyed La Hancienda more. I really enjoyed the Puerco en Salsa de Mole Negro ( roasted pork tender loin) entree. While I did enjoy Via Napoli , I was just not that thrilled with the pizza we ordered. It was just good nothing special. I did enjoy the two appetizers that we ordered. I will do both again on a future visit.
I ate at both, and I would definatly pick La Hacienda. Via Napoli is good, but I actually prefer Tutto Italia for Italian. La Hacienda however, the fish I had was amazing, and I can't wait to eat there again.

After reading some great reviews of La Hacienda, I canceled my Rose & Crown ADR and booked La H. This is the one meal I'm truly excited about and hope that the view of Illuminations is as terrific as I hope it will be. (and the food is as good as I hope, as well)
Not really interested in pizza while on vacation since I can have great pizza anytime here in Joisey.
