I missed out on two food reviews today because I didn't want DH to harass me. First, I was going to try a second review for something different at Starbucks to see if it'd work. Then I was going to review the sub place I had for lunch (Firehouse Subs.) Since he's on vacation, I'll have to suffer his comments for the dough. Once he realizes I bought most of his Christmas gifts with the money I made from Expo, he won't make fun of me.

I'm curious about the starbucks thing too... hmm.. I got dunkin donuts hot chocolate tonight... going to do that review now, now that I think about it... I saw your review on the first starbucks one that you did.. but I can't wait to see if the others work for you, mean.... Expo rocks ( AND my expo friends rock too!! )

Thanks! After all the talk of having to show the product in use, I figured I would show this in use. Though I did edit the video so that I could stop down and wipe the toothpaste off my mouth. I'm hoping Expo likes that one for the bonus money.

I don't know! I've never seen it do that before. I'd post on their forum. My reviews always said pending until it was approved. But maybe I never caught them while reviewing?

Has anyone else not been paid for Nov? I sent in our W9s almost 2 weeks ago and still no payment. I know they have until the last day of the month, but I have never been paid this late and getting a little worried.

I didn't make enough videos to get a W9, so I got paid... I've seen a lot of delays with people not getting paid for Nov, but I don't remember seeing anyone NOT getting paid yet... maybe you should drop them a line or resend the W9

I haven't been paid yet. I emailed a signed W9 over a week ago. I'm hoping they got it so I can get my money.

I emailed mine and DH and we both got paid the next day, I just did this monday I think, if not then tuesday or so. Maybe a week at most.

I e-mailed mine the same day it was posted, but I read that some of the e-mails were corrupted, so I re-sent mine through a fax and got paid the next day on the 13th.

Anyone having trouble on the Expo site tonight? I am finding it soooo sluggish. There is a delay when I type and I just can not get through the process to upload without it freezing up. Typing at other sites, like here on the DIS are fine, just Expo. Anyone else having trouble? I am so bummed because I really wanted to upload things tonight and start working through the Christmas loot!

1. Is this for specific products, or just the generic list they have there?
2. What stricter guidelines? I only see that the details linked to the list of items you can review. Is there another section where it has the specifics? i.e. video length, what needs to be included, etc? Please list steps, as I believe links are not allowed. Thanks.

Video legnth has to be more than one minute... like one minute and one second works!!! You can pretty much review anything you want... I haven't found anything that they didn't accept... I even did my rubber duck!! LOL

Anything you review must be currently available. If it is not listed in their database, you must supply a link showing where it is for sale and you will only be paid $2 even if it's something that would be more (like a fridge.) The rules can also change month to month. Check the forums on Expo for more help.

Has anyone heard of any pay rate changes for January? I haven't, just curious. I have some more to make this month (better get on it!) and want to make sure I get any that are decreasing in there.

Havent heard anything yet.. but I'm still upset that the travel reviews dropped to 5 this month . I'm going crazy this month with the dvds, just in case they're next to drop... I can't handle a $2 dvd review... ... I have my fingers crossed that everything will be paid out the same and that they stop capping the videos so that I can spend the entire month of January taping and uploading!

I haven't heard anything either, usually don't until the 1st. I am not into the $2 videos either, just can't seem to do it! I need to do 60 more this month but was out of $5 things that I could come up with!

I still can't believe DVD's are paying out at $5, I didn't even think it would last a month!

I hear ya! I'm still bummed about the travel reviews too. I'm doing the same thing w/my dvds - I've done so many I keep thinking that they're bound to drop them because I'm sure other people are doing the same. I've got my "small kitchen appliances" lined up for my $5 reviews next month, although I don't have 75 of those!

My shared reviews were finally approved but I don't know what I was thinking there...I only did 3! I went in yesterday and did 2 more so to get my next payout.
