Another way to make a little extra cash for our Disney funds

Well I'll be inside making more reviews today w/the all the snow outside, but I have to pick up dd and dh from the airport tonight (coming back from WDW!) so I might HAVE to get a pretzel from Auntie Anne's and review that! And maybe some cinnasticks for dd...

Let's all do it while we can!!!!!! :yay:

For those of you that emailed the form, did you save it to something and send as an attachment? Since it can't be signed that way I wondered how that would work also.

I emailed mine - I printed it out then scanned it back in and saved it as a pdf, then emailed as an attachment.

I didn't sign mine, I just filled it out on the PDF and send it in. Hmmmm I hope it's ok

I didn't have to do this, this year.. but I'm thinking you may want to sign it, scan it, and send it again just in case...

Hmmmm, I don't have access to a scanner so that's why I didn't sign. However, the message on my earnings page telling me to send it in went away, so I'm guessing that means it was accepted?? Plus I was paid... well let's hope

I now picture a video of my daily trip to Starbucks. The video will at least pay for one venti peppermint mocha. I did start a review at a restaurant I went to tonight. Though DH wasn't too thrilled when I started taking pictures of our food.
DH got mad at me when I took the camera into Panda Express and told me I better not embarrass him by doing a review right there. I just got the food and then did the review at home.
I thought we could only do one item per restaurant period. Have you guys been doing different items?

Me TOO! I'm going to start doing everything my family eats.

When did you send yours in? I sent mine last week and it still says I need to send it.

Question on Disney reviews -
If you do a restaurant - like CP for example - does that count as a destination? Can you do the individual resorts? And also each park? And those are all considered destinations? Thanks

I did the Disney restaurants as travel destinations because they aren't nationally available.

MizDiz - I sent mine in on Friday the 7th and was paid on Thursday the 13th. The message was on there until after I was paid, then it was gone.

I've reviewed Disney hotels and each park and Downtown Disney as individual travel destinations and each one was approved.

I can't wait to get down there...( boyfriend wants to go for Valentines day.... strange, eh??? hmmm....) and do some reviews.... Here's to making money while at the parks and maybe doing a review on the chick fil a at the orlando airport ( we don't have them in CT, but I believe they're considered nationally available...) Making money on vacation?? WOW.... and if I go visit another resort for dinner ... like AKL or WL... I love it!! i just wish they didn't change travel destinations to 5 bucks each... that makes me sad. :guilty:

They seem to be getting pickier and pickier on the travel destinations too, I got two rejected today. One was something new I had never seen it said,

Seasonal event reviews must contain live footage " it is like they come up with something new after you do 5 things in a row. I was doing all travel reviews, all nice with tons of pictures, the best ones were rejected where it seems crappy ones they let through. You do it live and get told, rejected for background noise!

I tell you, it is so hard to keep with this! Drives you up a wall! One month is super good, next everything is rejected!

Thanks for all the replies.

Here is a funny one for you.

I was in the bathroom and my dd2 (She will be 3 in a month) is in there with me when she says, "You've got to be quiet for a minute, mommy."

I looked over at her and she set her digital camera (Grandma bought it) on the counter, sat on my chair and started doing a "review" of shampoo.

"This is pink and I put in my hair."

Then she put it down and did the conditioner. THen she put it down and grabbed one of her barretts.

"This is mine. It is my hair brat and I put it in my hair." As she demonstrates or tries to put it in her hair.

She grabbed her Aveeno lotion.

"This my lotion and I put it on my face," Wiping her face.

She took my toothpaste. "This my mommy's and she likes this and put it in her mouth."

Then she told me she wanted to do some more. :rotfl:

Sounds like you are talking about my son. He walks around and reviews everything, gets really mad if you make noise or interupt him. There is a tide on on my husbands account where my son did it first, I didn't have the camera running the first time for real but when he did it so well I said do it again, he skipped alot though. I bet I have 100 films of him reviewing! Oh, he is 4!

These are both hysterically funny stories!!!! mine is a little different.... my co-workers think it's hysterical... one in particular watches them with her husband and two young sons... Her husband imitates me all the time when he goes to get something out of the fridge.. he does his own review on it (forgot to mention that i've never even met him!!! ) and her youngest son rolls around on the floor laughing... in my boba fett helmet review, at the end I said something like go boba fett... and go noah!! that was my own little shout out to him, and he was so pleased that someone said his name on the internet... LOL cute cute stuff.... :lmao:

I missed out on two food reviews today because I didn't want DH to harass me. First, I was going to try a second review for something different at Starbucks to see if it'd work. Then I was going to review the sub place I had for lunch (Firehouse Subs.) Since he's on vacation, I'll have to suffer his comments for the dough. Once he realizes I bought most of his Christmas gifts with the money I made from Expo, he won't make fun of me.
