Can someone tell me how to quote another person on the thread? When I copy and paste it doesn't look like how everyone else quotes.

I just hit the "quote" button in the lower right corner of the post I want to quote. I then delete any of the info I want to leave out.

I've been staring at the loading bar for about 15 minutes and there isn't the tiniest bit of color filling in. How long does it usually take?

When they work they seem to take 10-12 minutes for me and the bar never fills in. It just goes to the Thank You message when it is done.

Edited: Ok, I think I had some misinformation below so I deleted it. Looks like epxo only pays out once per month? If that is true, that is much better as per paypal fees.

Ok, this Paypal relationship to expo seems to be a catch 22. I have been using Paypal since 2000 with a Premier account in order to accept cc payments from Ebay. So if I want to open a personal account just for expo to avoid the Paypal fees, I must make sure to not make one dollar over $500 per month at expo, because if I do, they will make me upgrade that account to Premeir and thus, I will get charged for each deposit expo puts into the personal account.

So now, since expo is allowing us to go over the $500 dollar limit with these new $10 review payouts, anyone that plans to make a nice hunk of change and go over $500 at expo, will be forced to be a Premeir account holder, right?

I was thinking of opening a personal PP account, but knowing that will limit me to $500 per month, I don't see the point. Do I have all this correct?

what fees are you referring to? paypal taking a percentage for expo's deposit? if so how much is this..i cant recall being charged a fee unless someone used a credit card

Ok heres what i found on the paypal site.
It is free to send money with any type of account
It is free to withdraw with any type of account
the fees are charged when you recieve payment
fees are 1.9% to 2.9% with a premier account. so for example, say u make the $1000, they would charge you between 19-29 dollars. plus 30 cents which i dont know what its for.
the thing i didnt see was why u get chared the fee on a premier and not a personal. Im guessing it is for when u make over 500 dollars u have to upgrade to premier so i figure anything over $500 gets charged the fee of 1.9-2.9%

Not that I am going to get any done soon. My video camera won't record. It is going to take a couple weeks to get it back from Best Buy. But I am doing some major planning and viewing other peoples videos.

If, by some crazy luck, I did manage to upload the videos that I think I uploaded, where do you see the "pending" stuff you all are talking about? I just see zero videos and all that jazz. No reference to anything pending.

I am just going to stick with my Premier Pay Pal account (that I have for Ebay) so I can accept over $500 a month. I will just plan on a couple of video reviews going toward the fees.

Once you become a Premeir PP customer, you are charged for every single transaction in which you accept money... this is whether the money came from a cc card payment or a PP fund payment. You are charged this fee all the time. PP figures that you are being charged for every single payment into your account because PP is providing you a way to accept cc payments. I am not sure if I am explaining it right, but once you become a premier PP user, PP makes you pay fees for every single payment coming into your account. That is why it is darn good that expo only pays out monthly.

Patricia, you have the right idea, making a few extra reviews to make up the shortage.

Log into your account. In the green box on the left, click on the word "video" in the sentence "Your videos have 0 raves." Your submitted videos should be listed.

"Are there age requirements to submit videos?
You must be at least 18 years of age to submit videos. However, if you are the parent or legal guardian of someone 13 years of age or older, that person may appear in the videos you submit under your account."

What do you think "appear" means, exactly? Can DD14 do the entire review and then I submit it under my account, or, can she only "appear" in the review along with me?

I'm confused. She would like to do some reviews, but I told her I wasn't sure she could.

I have 3 like that too. I am not sure. I posted about it in the Expo forum today, hoping to hear something. I did read that a few months back there was a glitch where people got video error but things were really okay, the video had uploaded and they did not need to resubmit. I'm hoping this is something like that.

She can. My DD13 has done quite a few for me and have had a couple approved already. I asked this question in their forums and they answered back and told me she could do the review with my consent.

If you want info go to the forums first...they always seem to answer everyone there.

My DD14 will be so pleased that she can do some all by herself. Her favorite thing right now is to take pictures of herself, this will bump it up a notch or two for her.
