Another way to make a little extra cash for our Disney funds

It starts for whatever you upload in AUGUST.

Whatever you upload until midnight tonight is still$5.00 per approved video.

 Hi Guys!
I am the one that posted that question in the forum about the rumors...Thank goodness I did...
Anyway...I think I can handle the change of price in the video, because I can just aim to do more of the $10 items. But now Im wondering if we are still going to be allowed to do 100 videos a month. Because if so, that kicks butt, because it ends up being more money. lol. :woohoo: So hopefully right? Also another thing I need to find out is if we can do Hotels...Anyone know the answer to this yet? Thanks so much!

I'm trying to upload our last 15 or so and having so much trouble. I keep getting the "Unable to find video server" message. Anyone having luck this afternoon?

We are so close to that $500!

Same here. I managed to get about 7 in before it crashed on me. I have about 10 more left to go. So close. I will keep trying though. Even if I can get in 1 here and there.

Im curious too about the travel destinations. When you look at the box to input the info you can only put in a country and then an address. Im wondering how that works though. Like ive stayed at several of the WDW resorts and would like to review each of them but can it only be one place like WDW or can the resorts be done seperately? I hope they shed some light.

Crash, crash, crash...:badpc:

I think I'll make and upload my videos a bit earlier next month (like next week). I'm very thankful for the extra money, but the uploading is sooo frustrating. If I can even get into the site I get an "unable to locate video server" message. I think their server went for a walk...

I am going to try tonight to get in on this, thanks for the info, I hope I am not too late.

WOW to the new payment structure. i was all set to be disappointed - but it looks pretty nice. That is, if everything is as it seems. I had already recorded about 40 reviews for the next month, and some of them are $2. I'll just save them and if I can get more $10 ones done, use those and use the $2 for fill-ins.

It's great that arts and craft falls into $10. I am a knitter and other crafter as well and each kind of yarn counts - that's lots of moola there!

Oh and to break even with the $500 mark, you only need to do 38 $10 reviews, and the rest $2 ones. You actually come out a bit ahead! WOOHOO!

Thanks for posting this info! I'm still at work and can't access it here

I solemly swear I will never in the future try to upload reviews at the eleventh hour. :badpc:

tink

Me too..Ive been trying again for the last 15 minutes and I get all the way to the upload page then crash boom bang...oh well Ill keep trying....either way ive still got enough in just those last 10 for dh....im definitely going to get what i can done this week though for upload next week....sigh...

Does anyone know how to upload videos that were filmed with a logitech webcam? I get all the way through the process, they upload but then it says video error under status....:confused3 they are avi files, which it says it takes but for some reason they haven't been confirmed because of some type of error. I am very computer illiterate:confused: so any help would be greatly appreciated

You can capture through windows movie maker instead and I know those have been working here. Maybe you can open those into moviemaker and resave? Should work... you might have some codec on them or something

OK sorry if I am being dumb here cause I am new to moviemaker too

But when you saved it, did you go to "save movie file"?? You have to drag the frames you want down to the bottom then do that... if you just save project that won't save it as a movie. And that's how I've been saving mine, by "save movie file"... it saves it into a windows movie format.

Codecs are special things embedded in the file that make it only playable on certain programs... or somethinglike that.

Thank you so much tiffany, you were so helpful, im no wback up and running with these vidoes, once again i cant thank you enough:goodvibes :goodvibes

You tried using the method I PM'd you earlier? I haven't had one get rejected since I started filming w/my webcam, saving to my computer, taking them to moviemaker, resaving, and finally submitting. You can skip the webcam all together and just record your reviews through movie maker too and then saving and submitting. I don't do that because the sound is bad when I do that on my computer. It's better with the webcam. I hope you can get it figured out. I know it's very frustrating. I had issues too until someone here directed me from my webcam to movie maker.

Yes you were very helpful too i thank you as well for all your help. I just wasnt draggin them into the bottom before saving them after i got your advice, thanks to both of you for starting me on my way to helping finance my trip :teeth:

How do I change the file size of my video? My video is 86.5MB but the max for ExpoTV is 50MB.

TIA

quick question in regards to doing the "toy" reviews for august.... When we recently came back from disney we brought home over 20 stuffed animals, since we bought them all seperatly, am I able to review each one seperate you think?

How do I save something in moviemaker? What IS moviemaker? Sorry, not THAT computer savvy.
