We are doing the 4-night DCL cruise this Dec, followed by 4 nights at BCV (home). We are leaving the Saturday before the cruise, and need someplace to stay that night. We haven't really decided between staying at WDW or at Cocoa Beach, but I thought it would be a good idea to make a WDW reservation.
When I called (5 months out), OKW and SSR still had studios for Sat Dec 4, so I took OKW, but asked to be put on a waiting list for VWL. And just a few weeks later it came through!
I know, it's only a studio, it's only one night, it's a weekend. But VWL is supposed to be booked up tighter than a drum in early Dec, so I didn't really expect to get it.
Now somebody's going to have to really put up a fuss if they want to stay at Cocoa Beach!
