Another Volcano Bay question??

I know this has been asked before but I can't find the answer or a map. I need to know the premium seating locations at VB. We rented a cabana last time and just didn't feel like it was worth the money. I know some of the are totally in the sun in the afternoon and if there are others I'd love to try and reserve on of those. Please help? I hope I haven't waited too as we are going in a coupe of weeks. Can somebody point me towards a map?

Under the Theme Park tab on Universal web site look down and you’ll see park maps. But it doesn’t have where premium seating is. I did get it our first time and didn’t think it was worth it.
The only thing I liked was the lock box! The second time we found seating under umbrellas and had more shade. We left cell phones in the room and only took towels, sunscreen, hat, and water shoes. Before hand in the APP you can add your credit card to attach to tapu tapu. I didn’t want to bother with a locker.

I have not gone to VB but there are a few regular posters in the UO threads that do go.

I have tried looking through some of the threads to find the answer for you. (premium seating locations and map)

I know it has been discussed in this forum but I can't find the one that talked about permium seating locations.

Have you tried to use the search button to locate threads for what you need?

Ours was in the sand, directly facing the volcano. If I’m not mistaken, I think this may be the only premium section utilized in off-peak season.

I agree. If they would have thrown the towel rental in with the cost of the seats it would have maybe been more attractive, but as it stands, I don’t think it’s a necessary expenditure. The lock box was very nice though.

From what I can tell from Google Maps, there are two main areas - near the lazy river and in the back of the beach in front of the wave pool...

Thanks so much for the help. We will need a locker and I like the idea of the lock box on the chairs. I didn't realize towel rental wasn't included. That's ridiculous. We will talk about it some more.

I was in the area facing wave pool. Seating is in the back of the beach. I found it hot, the “hood” above chair not only blocked sun, it also blocked breeze.
Also there was no sun protection/shade for my legs so I had to put a towel over them.
A one and done for me.

True enough! It’s ridiculous they don’t provide towels. I brought over towels from RPH. They allow you to sign them out. Then you bring them back and return to sign out person.

Where do you sign them out from at RPH? The pool area?

Yes. You just tell them at pool area you want to take towels to VB and they’ll sign you out how many you’re taking.
