Another VMK for Dummies question...re: WDW tour

I'm planning a day at the MK in December for DDs to fulfill their VMK dreams, but they both have slight special needs and there is NO WAY they will ride Haunted Mansion. Is there any way for them to "earn" the cards without going on the ride? Also, since they will likely not make a sound, do the CMs give cards out to kids who can't/don't answer trivia quesitons? I know them and they will be miserable if they see everyone else getting cards and they can't. It is our last day and I want them to enjoy themselves, not get all hung up on what they could or couldn't do.

Also, do they have to complete the quests before we can sign up for the tour? If so, can we complete the quests earlier in the week, then return for the tour on the last day?

VMK is taking over my life and I don't even play it!!!

As long as the Mansion quest card is filled out correctly, they will get the prizes. It can be completed by anyone and given to them after the ride.

You do get some cards without answering any questions, but a lot more if you do answer the questions. You might consider sharing your concerns with the tour guide before the tour.

To get on the tour you have to show the card that entitles you to it. This can be done by completing all the quests or by finding all 50 Hidden Mickeys in VMK. The tour can be prebooked and this might be the best way for you to be sure to get on the tour on your last day.
