Another Upromise question

I'm already a member of Upromise, but I'm not sure exactly how this works. Do I have to follow a link from their website when I'm shopping online in order to get credit for it if I use the credit card that I registered with them? I noticed that they have a reminder that you can download to tell you if a site is registered with Upromise, but is that just to let you know, or do you need that if you don't use a link? I'm confused!!

Yes, you need to enter through the online shopping section of their webpage. I think this is to prevent "double dipping" from using other webpages that also offer referral rebates.
