:hippie: Whats up, yo? I managed to get dh out of the house for a bit. He doesnt seem to understand that he probably wont have much time to go do fun stuff in a couple of weeks here. So I want him to enjoy himself while he can. He got up and totally scrubbed out the fridge this morning.. and when he comes home... laundry time! He cant wait. :lmao: He hate doing laundry more then anything else in the world.. I dont see why. its not THAT bad. Besides.. the longer we wait, the worse it gets!

Tell Frelan I'll trade him, I love doing laundry. Just bring all the dirty laundry down to my house and I'll happily wash, dry and fold. In exchange of course for him cleaning my bathrooms, which is the chore I most hate.

Oh shoot! I forgot I left stuff in the washer! Better go :laundy:

DH talked my neighbor friend into watching the boys for a few hours so he could take me out to dinner for an early Valentine's Day treat.

We went to Anthony's and had a lovely meal overlooking the water. We had mussels as an appetizer (OMG, that garlic flavored melted butter is yummy!), he had a whole crab and I had steak with tempura prawns. We finished off the meal with chocolate mousse (his) and caramelized vanilla cream (sort of like creme brulee.) I. Am. So... Full. :rotfl2:

My friend treated the kids to pizza for dinner, then sent them downstairs to watch Madagascar 2. We showed up about 15 minutes into the movie, so DS4 burst into tears and refused to go home. Since I still wanted my friend to speak to me after this, I told him I was sorry, but he really did have to come home with us. He wailed all the way home. :rotfl:

(Good thing we're going back tomorrow night for dinner and cards!) :ssst:

Wow, boppin' night on the Hyena thread!:rotfl2: Good Morning Ladies and Happy Valentine's Day! Sadly I will not see my sweetie on Valentine's Day, but I did get a kiss from him as I was pulling in the driveway from work and he was leaving for work. He took a train to Pasco last night, gets his 8 hours rest over there and then will hop a train back today. So if I'm lucky he MIGHT make it back before midnight...the trip takes anywhere from 4-12 hours. Average about 8 hours. Although if it takes them 12 hours, they are required to stop the train! No running trains for more than 12 hours in a row. Then they have to call a shuttle van to come get them and bring a fresh crew in.

posting live from Mall of America Apple Store.
:rotfl:
hmm, I want a Macbook Pro now.. holy cow this thing is cool!

anyway, the mall is insanely busy all of the exit ramps from the highway leading to the mall were backed up. Wall to wall people, there is a knitters convention going on. Ladies sitting at info booth and knitting away in various places in the mall. Just as weird and intense as the scrapbooking convention.

okay.. I'm off to do my part for the economy.

Stimulate that economy Bernice!:thumbsup2

Had a quiet day here at home, slept in, did housework, did a little yard work, getting potted plants out of hibernation, cutting back rosebushes, cleaning off back porch and deck.

I told the kidlets I would take them somewhere fun today for Valentine's Day. They decided they wanted to go swimming, so we're off to the pool here in a few minutes.

See ya this evening.:)

Super exciting romantic day at the Staley house. :lmao: We got up.. did laundry, moved everything out of our room and "discussed" how to fix our bed frame. It went a little like this..
Me: Well THATS why it wont stay together.. The clamp is bent.
DH: Huh?
Me: The CLAMP.. its bent. You know?? The CLAMP??
Dh: Let me see..
Me: See what? Its bent. Look right here.. See?? You know, where its bent? Can you fix it?
DH: How is it bent??
Me:   Dont even worry about, because Im about to shove it in your freaking BUTT HOLE. THEN you can see how bent it is!

Why?? Doesnt he know that I am borderline COMPLETELY NUTS right now?? I said it was bent, and he freaking spent like 20 minutes deciding if HE thought it was actually bent or not!!!

Anyhow.. I asked him if there was a cheaper way to fix it then spending $70. on a new frame.. Welll... he could take it to work, and bend it back. NO!! I want it fixed NOW. Babies COMING. SOON. Very freaking SOON. Like, any day now! I dont want to wait around for you to fix this thing at work.

So we went to the hardware store. He said.. JB Weld. That should work, it bonds metal. We use it at work. Okay... Ummmm... Please tell me thats not what holds airplanes together. :scared1: :lmao: :lmao: So my bedframe is not JB Welded together. :thumbsup2

My room is rearranged, my bed is put together, my crib is up.. we bought the babies a little dresser thing for their clothes... I am now ready for babies!! Bring it ON! :cool1: :cool1:

Ahh yes and a super exciting romantic day at the Irwin's as well. DH is gone working...but supposed to be on a train home this afternoon. We had a nice time swimming, then hopped over to Winco and grabbed some produce and a few other staples and headed home.

Sounds like oodles of excitement!!:cool1:

I sat in the jacuzzi for a while, but got too hot. Went down the slide a few times and then ended up exercising in the lazy river. I try to swim against the current. But then I got tired and just floated around on an innertube, staring up at the ceiling...almost fell asleep. Which is pretty hard to do in a pool with about 100 kids.:lmao:

They were sure having a good sale on bulk Valentine's candy at Winco. It was 50 cents - 99 cents a pound. Very tempting, but somehow I resisted.:thumbsup2

So instead of candy I'm sitting here munching on strawberries, blueberries and nectarines. Not bad for this time of year, but I'm definitely looking forward to summer fruit.:thumbsup2

So how's that for an avatar? Something new to scare the mice away!:scared1:

GOOD MORNING DINGLEHOPPERS! :rotfl:

Hope you all had a great Valentine's Day. :) My bf and I went to get an oil change for my car. We browsed around Fry's Electronics until my car was ready. Then we headed to Camarillo Outlet. I exchanged an item at DC Shoes and got a pair of sneakers that were on sale for $19.99! :woohoo:

Then we headed to the movie theatre to watch Push. Dakota Fanning did an awesome job in this movie but the overall story wasn't that great. After the movie I saw this huge crowd of people waiting in line to buy tickets. It always stumps me how so many people want to wait in line to buy tickets and yet there are 6 or 8 kiosk machines where you can just buy the tickets right away. They don't use these machines for some reason. :confused3  My bf and I always use it but then again, are there that many people who don't have credit cards or don't want to use their credit card?

We ate a late breakfast/lunch and dinner combined at a sushi place. I got salmon teriyaki which came with california rolls and soft shell crab.

On the way home we stopped at Walmart to buy a few things.

My bf is too stressed over his car (his insurance sucks and doesn't return his calls on time) so he made me a card that was very sweet. :goodvibes I told him he doesn't have to buy me a present.

I hope you guys are having a good weekend. I'm so happy that I'm off tomorrow for Presiden'ts Day! :woohoo: :yay:
