Babies had their two month check up today.. All is well in babyland!:cool1:

Hi Melody!:flower3: Good to hear from you, hope things are going well.

Megan - wow, 2 months! When did our Hyenalettes get so big?:lmao: Sent those clothes that I found for Jazzy at the garage sales. Never did find any good baby boy clothes (sorry Vinny!). Anyway mailed them off yesterday.

We use our rice cooker quite a bit. But mainly for rice. We eat a lot of Jasmine rice and baked chicken breast for dinner, at least twice a week. I've tried a few other things in it, but mainly stick to rice. I've heard they are a good option for college students in the dorms where hot plates or microwaves are not always allowed.

Tattoos. Personally I am not that crazy about them. But to each his/her own. Except of course when it comes to my children. My DH has two, one on each arm. I have eight...but 7 of mine are little tiny blue dots that were used to line up the radiation lasers during breast cancer treatment. And my biggest one that I got in December is my nipple tattoo on my reconstructed breast. Hmmm...maybe that's why I don't like tattoos!:lmao:

Hey Sarah! How's it going? Getting pretty excited about the cruise?? Sucks that you don't get to go to Mexico. But then again, it's just a good excuse to go again.:thumbsup2

So guess what I did last weekend? I correctly predicted who was going to win Las Vegas. I told DH that Reed and Stewart weren't going to win. I said that it would either be Milsaps or Short. But then right before the race I looked at him and said scratch Milsaps & Short, Villapoto is going to win. How freaky was that? :lmao:

I know.. 2 months. Can you believe it? I cant. We have a new dr. I switched from having the kids go to a ped. to a family practitioner.. I figure that way, if we all come down with something.. like the swine flu or something ;) we can all be seen by the same guy. I dont know, I just like the idea of us all seeing the same person. ANYWAYS. This guy was AWESOME. He was so nice, and funny. I really like him. So did hubby.. and Mikalah for that matter. :lmao: He said he had never had newborn twins before. Lots of newbies, and some twins.. Just never newborn twins. He was all excited! :lmao:

Frelan didnt want to come with me, and if we werent having shots.. Okay. no prob. But have you ever tried to deal with two little babes getting shots?? :scared1: Good Gravy they were pissed!:lmao: But they got over it.. and are now sleeping off the tylenol we gave them. Well.. except Vinny. He is having tummy time on the floor. He keeps falling asleep though.. what a bum. :lmao:they are growing perfectly.. Vinny is just above the 50th percentile all the way around, and Jazz is too.. Not bad for being pre term babies! :cool1:

Yay for clothes! :cool1: Thank you!

Tattoos... I have two. One on my wrist, and one on my back. I want a REALLY BIG one on my back. We have a friend that works in a tattoo shop, and he is helping me figure out what the best way to lay it out would be. If my kids want them, I am okay with it. As long as they know what they are doing.. and are at least 18. Piercing?? I dont care. Its not permanent.. Funny.. Frelan and I were just talking about this last night. I wonder why? Oh yeah! We were talking about hair color.. I told him I didnt care if the kids wanted to dye their hair. Any color.. Whatever. But then I did let Alex have a full on Mohawk last summer.. So not a whole lot bugs me about that kinda thing. He aksed what I would think if Mikalah got a Mohawk or something. :confused3 He is the one that is super attached to her hair! Shoot.. IM the one that has to deal with that mop!! Shave it all off! :rotfl2:

Oh.. and we got the info on our ten year reunion.. They are doing a thing at Tulalip Casino.. and then a couple of days later a family thing at a park in town.. I am pretty sure we arent going. I KNOW we arent going to Casino. Because really.. who wants to watch my 4 kids? Heck.. I dont even want to watch them most of the time. :lmao: But it is kinda far away for just a day in the park thing.. Besides.. The last time I was In Marysville I had a little mental breakdown.. That was right after my dad died, so who knows what kind of crazy reaction I would have this time.

Yep, I'm getting excited and yep, we are planning to go again once we can go to Mexico. :lmao: I was looking up things to do in Catalina...I thing we are going to do the Glass Bottom Boat tour and I want to do the Segway Tour.

Wow, that is kinda freaky. :rotfl: I can't wait till the 25th for Glen Helen. Have you heard anything about Reed racing the outdoor? After Vegas he said something about maybe racing in a few weeks?:confused3 That was kinda dirty what he tried to do to Stewart, don't ya think? DBF says rubbin's racin' but still...

Almost 2am and I can't sleep. I had a bit of a bad day :headache:

sorry pix for the bad day. I coughed all night long and never slept. I should have gotten on the computer and we could have chatted. I would have at least been upright and not coughed!

Today would have been my dad's 71st birthday. I think I'll make a cake tonight or brownies to celebrate! I miss that man so much right now. :thumbsup2

Thanks Shawna  I hope you feel better! :grouphug:

I woke up late in the afternoon (around 12:30pm). My bf was asked by 2 managers if he could come into work today for a couple of hours. :sad2: I'm a little bummed that he got called in :(

We went to the mall earlier and I had to return an item. This lady rudely cut in front of me in line and I was almost upset by one sales associate who said: "Next person in line" and ignored me and helped this lady who cut in front of me. I said: "What just happened? What the heck?? That was so rude!"

I keep having poor experiences at Macy's. There are either no sales associates in sight to help you or the employees have an attitude that shows that they DON'T want to help you. Maybe I should stick to Nordstrom. They are always friendly and helpful there.

:hug:Happy Birthday to your Dad! I'm sure he will enjoy looking down upon you enjoying and celebrating.

Nordstrom is all about customer service first. Macy's in nice, but just not the same. Six weeks after my mastectomy I had to get fitted for my breast prosthesis. There were several smaller shops, but the lady at Kaiser highly recommended Nordstrom. They made what could have been a very traumatic experience into an actually fun time and helped make me feel so much better about everything. They had one lady in the Portland area that works with breast cancer survivors and she scheduled an entire afternoon just to help me find the exact right shape and the perfect bras. :thumbsup2 As you know I don't shop at the mall often (thrift shops, garage sales and clearance racks are more my style). But when I do go to the mall, I always swing by to see if they have anything I like.:thumbsup2

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

Just wishing everyone a Happy Mother's Day. This year is kind of a bittersweet one for me. My mother passed away on May 10, 2005. So this is the first year that date has fallen on Mother's Day. The ache in my heart isn't there as often, but it never really gets better. When I think about her, I still miss her just as much as I did the day she passed away. She wouldn't want me to sit around on Mother's Day crying over her, so today I will keep busy.

I need to start thinning some of my radish & turnip seedlings in the garden and also to plant my green beans. Might even go get a couple of cherry tomatoes and some cucumbers to plant this week.:thumbsup2

Today I want to share what my DD wrote in my card...I know I'm not always the funnest person to be around and I just want to thank you for always being tolerant with me. I just want you to be happy with yourself and all of us. You deserve more than a card but i never know what to get you. I know you'll always be there for me & you don't know how much I rely on that. Hopefully one day I'll make everything up to you. Have a happy Mother's Day Mom, and thank you for supporting me in everything I do. I love you always.

So how sweet was that?! Being the mother of a teenage daughter isn't always easy and there are lots of times we butt heads. I read that and thought "OH MY!! My baby's growing up".:lovestruc It's the first time I've gotten a very heartfelt message in my card.

That is so true! I couldn't agree with you more. Nordstrom has awesome customer service. All the Macy's in my area are horrible. I also like how one Nordstrom here has a day spa. They really pamper you and take care of you (even if it's just for a basic manicure or pedicure). I also like their Shiseido counter girls because they know about the products and are really helpful. They also have given me free facial cards. You call in and scheduled a facial and they give you one for free. I haven't had a chance to do that yet but I'd like to.
